Seems like he's way ahead of schedule.
good news... if he could show any kind of relative health, lack of set back, or being ahead of schedule i think it makes it easier to trade him at the draft

He's probably not getting traded until the deadline unless someone throws a ridiculous offer our way on Draft night.

I'd disagree.... i think our best chance to move him is on draft night. there are several teams with multiple picks in the top 12 that have a lotto pick to burn, all of them have the cap space to absorb lopez salary, and a gamble on lopez could be a better bet for some of these teams then using the 9 or 10 pick on a rookie big.
Trading him at the deadline i think is less likely. he wont get enough minutes with us next year (he will be hadled with kid gloves) to prove his durability and worth to a team trying to contend or "win now" and a team tanking likely isnt a great fit for him when they could wait until the offseason, lose more, and save 8 million dollars by waiting.
im not saying he will get traded at the draft, but if he does get traded, i think thats when it will be

I don't think so. The initial reports said that he would be available for the playoffs depending on how far we got.
He's not running or even doing 5 vs 0 drills yet. If he wasn't shut down for the season, I'd say he'd be 4-6 weeks away from being able to play in a real game and actually produce.

The initial reports were before he had a second surgery. King has already stated that he's out for the season no matter what.

Oh I know, that's why said "if he wasn't shut down for the season". I meant regular and post-season.

What about a Lopez, Plumlee, and Teague + maybe a pick for Love and Martin

Joey Crawford would eject Minnesota from the league, because they'd be laughing too much.

How is that funny?
Lopez might stay healthy but at least Twolves get a starter in Lopez as a starting PF. Love would resign with the Nets and you get Martin as a PP replacement. Teague still needs time to develop and they could use Plumlee as a back up.

Funny as in, Nets completely robbing Minnesota.

That deal isn't remotely based in reality because the Nets would be screwing the Wolves. Most of the time its the other way around.

I think Lopez may need the Wade treatment for a while. I'm of the opinion that with his particular injury limiting his minutes but having him play every game does him more harm than playing him regular minutes but giving him more days off.
All the pressure from being that huge just builds and builds... As frustrating as it is the Nets need to be prudent with Brook this year.

(The leg's) doing great," Lopez said (fast forward to about 2:10). "I was fully cleared for play and everything about a week and a half ago now. It's doing great. Now i just need to get back in shape."

Alternating KG/Lopez on B2B's should be a no brainer. Brook plays the first game, KG plays the 2nd. With Lopez/KG/Plumlee - we truly have the depth to give Lopez the Wade treatment + rest KG properly and hardly miss a beat. Building chemistry is the only problem. I don't think we have a choice. Hollins is going to have to be creative.

Re: Official Brook Lopez Thread
It's pretty much a given he'll be on a minutes limit and be given off back to backs and some other random precautionary games.
I'd imagine they start him off around 18mpg and by around game 15 get him up to low 20's, he'll probably never play more then 28mpg this year besides maybe one odd game here and there and I imagine he ends the year averaging around 25mpg and plays a max of 70 total.

I believe that Brook will falter, and Plumlee's stock will rise.
Brook has too much pressure on him now. He will crack, just like he did in the Bulls series where he got annihilated by Noah in the latter games

Re: Official Brook Lopez Thread
Just so we're clear on the expectations for Brook. Him "faltering" and "cracking" in the latter games still had him at:
26 points, 11 boards, 4 blocks, 2 steals, 2 assists - Game 4
28 points, 10 boards, 2 assists - Game 5
17 points, 3 boards, 2 blocks, 2 steals, 2 assists - Game 6
21 points, 9 boards, 2 blocks, 1 steal - Game 7
While being double and triple teamed consistently and playing along side 2 players that the Bulls consistently ignored. If he can fail and crack like that this year, I'll take it. He wasn't the reason we lost, not even in the top 5.
