thanks for the updates Paradise!!!

getting a bit excited... seeing Brook back(hopefully better than ever) and a supposed healthy POS errr I mean Dwill hahhahahaha.

But the likes of Plumlee, Mirza, Bojan, Karasev has me more excited cuz they are the wild cards in this and really the guys who's play(up/down) can be the difference maker when our starters are out...

btw, looks like AK off the bench by Hollins statements inferred.

Thanks for the updates.

I'm overly excited for this coming season. It's almost like they are starting over again or something. I have new outlook/perspective going forward. More than anything I love the addition of Lionel Hollins. His disciplinarian style of coaching will not allow a single player to take plays off. That intrigues me. Also, I want to finally see this team defend or at least make a better effort to.

Can't wait!!

Thank god Johnson will start at SF

Let's see who wins that battle between Bogs and Double A. It will come down to defense imo.

I'm so pumped, we've got a great coach and a good team.

Hollins is going to cuss Brook out this season more than a few times. He'd better get on those boards!!!

If KG can immediately call out their shooting... that just gave me a warm feeling... lol

This is gonna be a great season. I wonder how Bogs will play. And also intrigued by Karasev.

Things I liked:
- He acknowledged Joe is a 3. I thought he might try to play him at the 2 so AK starts. Naming KG a starter had me worried he would make AK a starter as well. Hopefully he starts Anderson who would be the much better fit than Bogs.
- He called himself a player killer in response to that DWill question. Hopefully he's tough on Deron, Brook and the guys we need that.
- Like that shot Joe took at Kidd saying we didn't really practice under him. I think Kidd was too big on rest and not hard enough on some of these guys.

I like all the other stuff like DWill feeling better than he did all of last year, Brook feeling great, Joe wanting to build upon his playoff performance, AK's core work to reduce back spasms, all these guys looking great in practice. I'm sure much of that stuff is regular fluff type stuff of press conferences, but still good to hear.

WTF did anyone see that JJ said under Kidd they never really practiced??? What is that about? No wonder that team didn't achieve anything last year, b/c Kidd wasn't **** doing his job and trying to rely on player talent?

Thank god that **** stain Kidd is gone and he can ruin someone else's franchise now. So glad we have someone else running the show. Last thing we need to do to clean this franchise is get a new GM.

From everything I've read and heard from Hollins, I just think the players are going to buy into him. These guys need toughness to remind them how good they can be. Kidd gave them all a pass, and Avery was just tuned out. Hollins for COY in 15!

This team still has loads of potential. Bogdonavic and Karasev are definitely intriguing prospects. Hollins, and the rest of the coaching staff, I'm sure will focus on developing them into serviceable players. I'm really most intrigued about Bojan. Bojan has a lot of potential and can definitely grow into an all star. While he may be 25 and not a new draftee, he played in the Euro league and gained experience there. Karasev is 20 years old with room to grow. Hollins was a big reason for the development of Randolph and Gasol; he will have the same task of having to develop the new young guys. A healthy D Will, Lopez, and Johnson should be enough to propel this team. Whether they do or not remains to be seen. Look for mid season trades to occur depending on how the team performs. If they are in contention with a very good record, I expect Billy to pull a trade which will be considered a "final piece" type of trade (ala Rasheed Wallace in 2004) or get rid of their atrocious contracts for an opportunity to rebuild this team.

For those of you who are saying Billy could not acquire prospects, he, through this single off season, proved you completely wrong; Karasev, Brown, Jefferson and Bogdanovic is all I have to say. Combine this with the fact we acquired Jarret Jack and have a healthy Lopez and Dwill back, there is no excuse not to make the playoffs.

This, IMO, is a crucial year in Nets land. 2015 is right around the corner and this will be an opportunity for the Nets to get under the tax and do sign and trades. I believe that after this year, if a failure occurs, then the plug will be pulled on this experiment.

I thought that King did a hell of a job in reshaping this team. The youth infusion is a huge step in the right direction

King did everything within his power.

-bought draft picks
-traded his only big expiring for young players/effective replacement for livingston
-Dumped pierce
-Got the coach in that he originally wanted

There are obviously moves that would have helped, dumping lopez at the draft, convincing KG to retire, but both were out of his hands as powers that be clearly want lopez here and KG held the cards on his situation.

We have a team that is incapable of missing the playoffs. that will make 3 years in a row and all 3 years since coming to brooklyn, thats fantastic accomplishment.

Word is AK47 was the fifth starter this morning. Not sure if it's completely true or if it even matters this early in camp. Interesting considering Hollins said JJ was going to be a SF. I hope Hollins isn't one of those guys that blatantly lies to the media like PJC.
