That's very discouraging. All signs were if he doesn't play tonight, which obviously he is not, he would play Saturday. Don't know if that's possible now, just another step back

i think we've learned from the past you cant take the nets word on health situations with lopez.

Nets fans should officially stop ignoring that the fact that it's a serious issue.

His foot problems were serious two years ago. Right now, it's super alarming.

Brook is turning to a modern day Ilgauskas....maybe he should invest in detachable feet when he is not using take them off and substitute it with Titanium house footies

this is sad.... anyone remembers the first foot injury Brook suffered? after that, it's been a domino effect....

Unlike most, I do have some serious doubts about his actual impact as a player, but even if he was as good as the majority of this board believes...what's the point if he can't even stay on the court? He's officially Andrew Bynum status now. Those feet of his are gonna carry a huge black mark for the rest of his career.

Some people have been calling it for a few years *cough* but people weren't listening.

yes, this isnt some new revelation for everyone here. even while he was healthy/putting up numbers some of us questioned his actual impact

To be fair, when he was healthy and putting up the #s, he was doing that on his own with any other "Star" players around or with him..... then reinforcements came and soon the injuries... :banghead:

Nets may be better off looking for another center to acquire during off season, just in case.

Lionel Hollins wrote:Yeah, he wasn't guarding. I want him to guard. Simple as that. Get on him. You know he's shooting the ball, making shots; you've got to guard him. Couple of times he made him put it on the floor, but he didn't do it enough and you know, the game was tic and tac and I just tried to take that away from him, which we did with KG by putting him in the game..."
