I wish the Nets would give Young a look. Athletic, aggressive, plays with a chip on his shoulder.

Hornets are trying to shake up their roster due to their god awful start and apparently everyone but Al Jeff and Kemba are available.

I don't give a damn, I would dangle Johnson over the edge of the boat and see if Jordan bites. We need to get him and Brook the **** out of here but if we can dump Joe and get a few serviceable guys I'm with it.

Isn't JJ still with the Jordan brand? I think MJ would definitely be down.

That could definitely work although sending them Brook and JJ would almost definitely turn them into a contender.

Kemba/Stephenson/JJ/Al Jeff/Lopez is a starting unit to be reckoned with.

Since their picks would mean little to us, they would need serious cap relief and some good prospects (which they don't really have). And then you'd have to have Hollins try to play nice with young players. Oh boy…it seems like a lose-lose situation although getting under the cap and possibly having cap space this offseason could possibly work in our favor.

We are **** ed. Hollins will have to coach young talent. I don't care if that mean getting those two off of our books.

We need to make a move.

Kris Humphries has become a solid roleplayer for the Wizards. Amazing what happens when people get away from this dysfunctional mess. Kidd's team also looks leaps and bounds better than ours.

he was a solid role player here as well.

It is really tough playing next to lopez. your focus has to 100% be on rebounding and he causes you to scramble so much defensively that is tough for a big to really be in position and not have to help.

Brook is a major liability. we need to trade him ASAP

Players leave and play well.

Kidd leaves and gets a team that everyone projected to be lotto bound to play .500 ball.

Yet we still remain an underachieving team with the highest payroll in the league. :-?

Humphries was very good here as well. He just isn't a starter.

We sure paid him like one. 2yr/$20mil contract if I recall.

Just another sign that the front office has been jacked up for a while now, even before King took over.

Exactly. That's why It's comical reading the overreactions on King but ignore the idiocy that went on before this regime. Yes, he sucks and he has been one of the worst GMs of all time but Thorn wasn't a saint either. Trading away Ryan Anderson, stunting Brook's growth by drafting and signing garbage players like Yi instead of grown veterans, drafting Terrance Williams over Jrue Holliday, Jeff Teague, Ty Lawson.

2 years/$24 million. King signed him to that deal in 2012, the same summer he signed Gerald Wallace to a 4 year $40 million contract :banghead: so that's on him. But the theory was creating a large expiring to match contracts, a facilitator for the celtics deal. The lakers did the same thing with Jordan Hill this summer

The Hump deal was not even a big deal because it was to be used as a trade chip.

And yes, before Thorn left he made sure to scorch the bloody earth
