Repeater tax doesn't start until next year

yup, and we can get under the repeater tax by simply letting KG expire.. puts us at 76.5 M... this years tax was 76.8M and is likely to go up a bit

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a DWill trade scenario.

Woj is saying we reengage in OKC hoping to extend Reggie, which I enjoy the idea.

But I assume that has to come with a way to move or deal with Dwill

i love a lopez for reggie deal with or without an extension. renting reggie to help for the playoffs along with expirings and lamb to me is still great value for brook. im fine extendinh him as well. it cuts into 16-17 but i think push come ot shove you could move jackson with 2/24 or so left on his deal if you cant find a taker for dwill.

Jackson/Plumlee i like alot. throw in thad young and now you have some guys that can play uptempo.

I think King needs to look into scooping up Blatche or Robinson. Why not at this point? Let's see how either can help us.

We have a history with Blatche, and Robinson was sought after by King in the past. I think either could happen.

The idea of acquiring Robinson is growing on me. He looks like a decent rebounder, which is something we desperately need especially if we decide to go small as Hollins is suggesting.

Robinson, in the third (and final due to his fourth-year team option being declined) year of his rookie contract, is due $1,190,058 the rest of the season.

He could join a contender and provide depth during a playoff run. He could find a team that will play him a lot and set him up for his next contract. Or maybe he could even do both.

Robinson has not lived up to his billing as a No. 5 pick in the 2012 draft, but he’s not exactly a bad player. He rebounds very well, and he has size and athleticism to do more. He’s still just 23.

So looks like we have a shot at signing Robinson. I think he would be a good fit for what we need. He fully he chooses us, and we can run with rotations of young/lopez and trob/Plumlee.

Robinson has averaged 9.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in 16.4 minutes (19.0 PER) of play off the bench in four games with the 76ers.

And apparently he still wants a chance somewhere that he can continue to shine.

He would be IDEAL next to Brook off the bench for us going forward. I hope we can make a move for him after this season ends.
