head into the playoffs with a new fresh look, and hopefully a healthy Deron

I kinda of agree, some slight tweaking I'd like. Prefer Lopez for Afflalo and Chandler if they'd bite on that instead. I would then wait a bit because i think Chandler and Afflalo help matters. They will let Joe play less and I think Afflalo would be a good fit. If this fails and we're still show no signs of improvement at the deadline then make the 2nd trade with Charlotte trading Joe.

All this trade talk is due to Dwill being a dog and now being untradeable. What a horrible tenure he has had as a Net. Maybe the worst Net ever. Think about it. Marbury was a terrible teammate but balled out every time he touched the floor. Coleman dogged it sometimes but put up huge numbers.

I really believe Dwill is the worst Net.

:o

Could Billy King actually emerge from this deal with a win!?!?
EDIT: I thought Lamb would be coming here.

How does OKC give up Lamb and get Lopez? We give up Lamb & Jack?

No, there's gotta be other parts to this.

Yeah, I don't see how we give up our starting point guard without something back. Perhaps Reggie Jackson? OKC wants him gone badly.

Yea there has to be other parts we're sending out $20 million and receiving back just $9 though i guess Perkins would coming here. Don't really love the idea of giving up Jack with injury prone DWill, but this does shave more salary for this summer and we take a flier on Lance. I don't hate it, would like to get an asset in this. Perry Jones, or something from Charlotte who seems to be making out like bandits.

Perry Jones
Perkins
Lance incoming works in trade machine.

I think with Jack going out we get Neal or Roberts back from Cha. I would forgive all if we could get back Jackson from Okc. He'd resign here.

I hope it's not Neal or Roberts. None of them are starters and Deron is probably two weeks away from returning. I'm holding out hope for Reggie Jackson even if it's unrealistic. Neal and Roberts are ten times worse than Jack's chucking.

HAHAHA
Maybe let Morris start till Dwill gets back.

Jackson is only playing 19min a game now that they got Waiters. He cant be happy.

Very interesting. I would give them their choice of Euro player for Jackson. He and Dwill can play next to each other.

Plumlee
KG
JJ
LAnce
Jackson

Fun lineup and very defensive minded. Only shooter is JJ though.

If we got Perry Jones and Lance, I think I'd cry.

These kind of things don't happen to the Nets, so I'm just going to keep thinking that it won't happen.

What does a center have to do with a fast break?

The Nets had Todd McCoullogh at center when they were the fastest team in the NBA

I didn't know McCulloch was a 1st/2nd scoring option for those Nets.

The Hornets, who have been trying to move Stephenson for more than a month, want to make the deal, but Brooklyn and Oklahoma City have yet to agree, according to sources.

The Nets also have had trade talks with the Miami Heat.

It should be a go for us too.

Leave it up to the Nets FO to get cold feet and be satisfied with a team that's on a 7-game losing streak and just starting a tough part of the schedule. :nonono:

Hey guys, just wanted to drop in to ask about Lopez. Pluses/minuses? From what I can tell, solid offense/postup game, weaker defender, big injury questions. Missing anything?

Sets weak screens, great teammate, incredible touch to about 20 ft, when he decides to play in the post pretty much unstoppable, decent post defender, terrible help defender, good rim protector though.

Think he would do well with a change of scenery and team mates that help him excel. He needs to play with some go hards.

Thanks!

No idea if this really happens, but I want Perk gone, and Lamb's not playing, so sure.
