I really like this move. Another athletic forward that can stretch the floor.

What do we know about this guy, I see that he's a SF/PF. What does he bring?

I'm so freaking happy it happened already.... now I hope it pays dividends....

Clark can be a streaky shooter but he's definitely athletic and GASP, he can move like a young man... I really really hope this changes our dynamic and pray Hollins doesn't let him rot.

If I we're to make any assumptions, this was a move with Hollins DIRECTLY in mind and was ran by him. I think it's why it took so long for us to find someone to sign, they wanted a guy that we knew Hollins wanted to play and utilize in his system

Here's to hope that he pans out! We need size and rebounding in the WORST way. Missing out on Robinson has been killing us.

Not a great signing but he fits in to what nets want to do. SMALL BALL.

He should be ready to go as soon as possible. It isnt like Hollins has some sort of system to get used to.

Clark brings something completely different compared to Thad and CJ. Clark is more like MT3 which should be good.

Well this is good. Most likely an upgrade over CJ at this point. But maybe not. He's only had a couple decent stretches in his career.

we have nothing at forward after Thad. CJ doesnt look ready or hasnt been ready enough in hollins eyes to get minutes. anything we can do to backup joe/thad at Sf/PF is worth the signing

as long as it means Johnson doesn't have to play PF then I'm ok with it. JJ is god stinking awful when he plays PF.

Nets sign Earl Clark to 10 day contract

Yeah I was waiting for a signing like this. It also stops us from playing Plumlee / Lopez at all or atleast a couple minutes at most.

I think this guy can get a good run and really fill a good role if he's ready to play defense and rebound... We need him to focus down on that

I like Earl, he's a local product but I'm not getting my hopes up. He's not that good.

Probably the best we could do, but like MDB, my expectations are low.
He has decent size, athleticism and skill but he seemed to hold himself back.

Well, hopefully getting some long term security will limit his 'LOOK AT ME COACH' chucking.

i felt the same way, hopefully he buys into team ball not feeling the pressure of needing numbers for a contract.

He has so much potential but settles for the jump shot way too often...He's not a great defender either. I don't completely hate the move though. Hopefully he pans out here in Brooklyn, close to home.
