Nominees:
Blake - 2
LMA - 1
DMC - 1
Kawhi - 1

General Voting Rules:
Spoiler:
One of the reasons for doing this is to kill time during the dead of summer when there's nothing else to do and we're waiting for the next season. I will post a list of players and out of that list of players you vote for one. You also need to nominate a player not listed in the current voting pool but a player you'd like to see available to be voted for in the next round.

For instance, let's say it's the first round and the available candidates to vote for are LBJ, KD, Curry, Harden, and Westbrook. I decide to vote for LBJ this round but I believe CP3 is the next best player. Since CP3 is not available to be voted for, I nominate him to be included in the next round of available candidates. The nominee with the highest number of votes will be included as a candidate to vote for in round 2.

In the situation of a tiebreaker, a 24hr period will be given for people to change their votes. You can only change your vote to one of the players who shares the tiebreak.

If there's still a tie after 24hrs, I break the tie.

Simple, right?

Voting rules for non-Nets board posters:
Spoiler:
If you are not a regular on the Nets board or you don't post here often you need to vote for 3 rounds in a row in order for your votes to count.

I welcome outsiders to vote, but we don't want outsiders intentionally screwing up our rankings. No hard feelings but this is the most effective method I can use to make sure non-regular posters aren't sabotaging our system.

This is tough for me. Narrowed down to 3 guys: Curry and Durant who I think are close and Davis who I think there's a good chance surpasses them next year.

Ultimately, I'm going with Durant. I'm not going to discredit him for this injury riddled season and instead judge him on his last fully healthy season - 2013-14. I think his MVP season was a bit better than Curry's and saw some good arguments on the PC board.

Durant in 2013-14: 32 ppg, on 63.5 TS%, 7.4 rpg, 5.5 apg, 29.8 PER, 19.2 WS, 8.5 VORP. Led the league in points, win shares, PER, VORP

Curry this year: 23.8 ppg on 63.8 TS%, 7.7 apg, 4.3 rig, 28 PER, 15.7 WS, 7.9 VORP. Led the league in VORP.

Curry obviously had better team success, but I think that's a product of better teammates and greater health - Westbrook missed 36 games. I also don't think Curry could maintain that level of efficiency while carrying a large scoring load like Durant did.

Spark Notes:
Vote: Durant
Nominate: The man who won twitter yesterday - Blake Griffin

Durant. People forget about him cause of his injury last year, but his stroke is as sick as Curry's. And he can drive the paint.

Nominate: Kawhi Leonard. Defensive savant who can score in bunches.

Is this suppose to figure out who the top 25 players of 2015 were? I'm just thrown off with the Durant votes.

This is who you think is the 2nd best player in the league right now.

Others believe KD is still the 2nd best despite the foot injuries.

You can debate with them and try to change their minds before the voting deadline is over tomorrow.

If you keep voting in each round, your votes will officially count in the tally beginning with player ranking #4.

Bump.

I know today was a busy day but at least we have this to take our minds off of the situation.

AD wins by a single vote. Blake Griffin has been voted into the selection pool for the next round.

Hopefully, more people will vote going forward. I know this weekend was filled with the D-Will buyout.

On to #3.
