Telling me that I need to grow a thicker skin after you demanded that a moderator apologize to you, and challenged him to meet you in person so that you can force him to kiss your feet is a bit much.
Are you calling me a fascist? I'm the least fascist person that you'll ever meet. many people have told me so. many many people.

It was definitely more than "a bit much" and I've apologized to that moderator.
I just think both of us know that "this board cracks me up" is not something that should offend a reasonable person. You just wanted to shut me up. And it's a really slippery slope if that becomes an actionable offense - 30% of everything most of us say would be ban worthy.
Something as basic as "you're biased," which is said often, is more inflammatory than "this board cracks me up," and is used as an ad hominem quite a bit. Do we really want to go down that path?
Some of the things you say annoy me. But I can handle that. Short of calling me nasty names, I would not report you, although your recent tactics have me rethinking this.

Ok, so you admit you delight in other people finding you annoying? You know, if saying "this board amuses me" is sufficient for a ban, then this might as well be you admitting to trolling. Reported.

His music intro is one of the best..... I bet he locks himself up in a room, blasting that beat then unleashes on the opponent....
Chuck Norris has nothing on the Ultimate Warrior!

I sadly have to post this in response, but after this we have to get the thread back on topic.

This is a good point (and MDB this is not a shot you).
We may say things that annoy each other or disagree with but aren't actual violations or offenses to the board. We may also say things that are in violation and warrant being reported.
Rich, JJ, and I do not have time to read every single post in every thread. For everything that we don't see, we are relying upon all of you to report the posts which are truly over the line.
This doesn't give one the liberty to spam the report button, as that would only work against one's reporting since the mods wouldn't take those claims seriously.
Everyone should be understanding of each other and try to work towards having a Nets community where a diversity of opinion is appreciated, not looked down upon. We're better when we include everyone's thoughts and approaches. I've learned a lot from people who I have disagreed with, and they have forever changed the way that I go about thinking, critiquing, and/or posting about basketball.
Use the report button judiciously and with the mindset that you are reporting someone for attacking you our community, not because you didn't like or simply disagree with someone else's post.

This is the kind of stuff that gets me upset. If you put yourself in a position where you always have assets, are developing players, and you have a track record of doing good things, players will notice and they will gravitate towards you.
Can you imagine if PG wanted to go to San Antonio? He'd take pressure off of Kawhi and vice versa. That would probably the best two-way wing combo since MJ and Pippen, if they ever joined up.
It's such a shame that we're in our current predicament. We had so many quality assets back in 2010. They were used like we were that dude on the corner who's always passing out free demos of his mixtape. "Everything is free!"
It's so sad.

So now that Cousins was traded to the Pelicans for less than was sent to Portland for Gerald Wallace, we're pretty much screwed, along with the rest of the league.
