That ended up about as far away from brooms as you can get. That was fun series after the first few games. I thought luongo played a great game. Good luck against nashville.

Yay, Vancouver! Became a fan after going to grad school at UBC. I hope they sweep Nashville. They need the rest before facing Detroit/SJ.

Yeah, what a joke. It's sad, I think me and you are about the only fans around. Let's go Nucks, we're going all the way baby!

Hope they win tomorrow.

Man, if they win the Cup, I'll go fly to Vancouver just for the huge party on Robson St. I was in Vancouver for the Olympics, so I don't know if the party will be bigger than when Canada won men's hockey gold, but it will be VERY big.

It won't be bigger in the sense that there were way more people (toursists) that were also present during the olympics, but it'll still be literally the whole city. If they win tomorrow, they only gotta steal one in San Jose. Let's do this boys, GO NUCKS GO!

Amazing showing by my Nuckleheads! If we can steal one in San Jose, we got this series on lock.

FINALS HERE WE COME!!

The Canucks went nuts today. Totally exposed the Sharks.

Still worried about penalty-killing and goaltending though, but it's great to have a 2-0 lead. I hope TB and Boston beat each other up really badly.

Hey, I'll join the party.

Canucks are just pounding the Sharks into submission in the final period. Gotta be nice to know, in the back of your mind, you're never out of a game because you've got the third period on lockdown.

Hi there!

Question - are there are a lot of hockey fans in the Pacific northwest (e.g. Washingston state and Oregon)?

Great job, boys. 3-1 series lead. Finish it off at home.

It's more of a cult thing here, fandom isn't widespread but those that are get really into it. I live in Oregon, and it's primarily Shark territory. The WHL is semi-big here because of the Winterhawks up in Portland.

At home, and Joe Thornton might not be able to go for SJ. Hard to not start thinking big...!

I'm terribly disappointed in Luongo's lack of patience and perseverance. His puck handling has improved, but he should just make the safe play. He almost made the same mistake again last game and handed San Jose another goal, just got lucky. None the less, very happy about this 3-1 lead going back home. I'll be at Rogers Arena cheering on for a Finals visit tonight!

Let's end this series, get a couple days extra rest and welcome one of Boston/Tampa to our beautiful city lads!

GO NUCKS GO!

Lucky you! I hope you have a great time. I lived in Vancouver for about 2 years, but I never got to go to a Canucks game.

*sigh* I miss Vancouver so much. If the job market were a bit better and if I had taken advantage of opportunities when I was there, I would definitely live in Vancouver. Walking through downtown Vancouver is so much better than walking through downtown Toronto.

Anyway...have a great time! Be my eyes and ears, LOL!
