Lebron: had the chance to beat kobe, and wade, and what does he do? he joins wade.. LOL...

this will be his legacy.... but hey, congrats lebron...

Amen to that

This take a back seat move is so counter to the douchebaggary "look at me" ego-centric way he went about this process. I bet he tries to overcompensate so bad once they hit the playoffs and it backfires big time. I really hope that some league wide taunt/chant takes hold that goes right at his ego - I'd love to see him fold. I vote for a nice drawn out "Robin" chant every time he touches the ball or is at the line to get in his head.

I wanted him to stay in Cleveland. I would have been happy for the Knicks if they landed him, but now I want to root for the Knicks even harder. I'm glad I never fantasized much about Lebron like others here. Personally I wanted Joe Johnson to join Amare in NY.

This should be what shows our unity. This should be how we feel about one another as fans, and how we feel about our team, regardless of who is on it.

LeBron has no heart.

I can rest comfortably knowing guys like Gallo, Amare, and (possibly)Randolph are giving 100% effort every night. Dude's with some heart.

I'm new to the board, although I've been lurking for a year now. This place his been my #1 spot for all Knicks info and discussion. You people have made the craziness of the last few weeks tolerable.

Anyway, I was pissed when he made the announcement, but, it's time to move on. Right now, Miami is enemy #1. LeBron threw away any claim for being one of the GOAT players by this bitch move. And, if he's going to be that kind of coward, I don't want him in NY anyway.

After all this garbage and complete disregard for the sanctity of sports, I would have had mixed emotions about rooting for LeBron as a Knick. We can now finally focus on rebuilding the Knicks as it should be, through smart signings, trades, and draft picks.

We still have Amar'e Stoudemire, a star in his own right, in addition to David Lee or a maximum cap slot. We are going to make some power moves and fill our roster holes.

The NBA and Miami may be a sham, but I'm looking forward to getting the Knicks rebuilt on our own terms.

Stop lying to yourself.

Why would I not look forward to seeing the Knicks rebuilt? Obviously, having a player with LeBron's talents would have been fantastic. A dream. But at least we don't have to deal with this LeBron ego-thon anymore. You think it's over now that LeBron signed with Miami? Now Miami and his teammates get to deal with that, while we can finally focus on the Knicks.

I feel oddly relieved. He turned the NBA into a circus and played with many people's emotions. Besides, his choice was oh so dumb. Good luck with your business Lebron after all the bs you've pulled. He just made the most boring decision he could make and will sooner than later see the folly of his thinking.

glad that this is finally over. i love our young team that we have in place, and only look forward to their development. this night should only serve to motivate them as players to become better individually.

Good point you dont really want a player lebrons caliber in fear of holding back Gallo

If Gallo becomes a true Go-To player and Amar'e is healthy and strong and Randolph thrives and Douglas keeps getting better and Walker's doing the Skywalk, we have a bunch of young players who can reach their potential. Look at Oklahoma, youth maturing and gelling together. We have that chance now more than with Lebron on the team. We get to max out our potential, not stifle it.

Amare is here to get paid. If he wanted to win, he would have played to beat the Lakers during the playoffs. The guy was MIA (missing in action) for all but one game. I fully expect him to quit on us. One word for you: LOTTERY
