Re: All Things Lebron - Part 5

Just to look at this from a different point of view, does anyone think that maybe the Knicks got wind he might be leaning toward NJ, so they are making this last desperate effort?

Something is definitely fishy with Lebron now waiting until after his summer camp in Akron to announce is decision and with him traveling to the area on Wed. This could be good news for NJ or NY though.

why would the knicks make a last ditch effort to get him, it makes no sense because if scott o'neil is going there right now, thats 3 meetings in total...

Also, if Lebron doesnt want to play for a team wouldnt he just be like, thanks but im not interested in playing for u instead of having guys travel from ny to cleveland on a holiday weekend

What a homer. A second meeting doesn't really mean anything since Lebron wasn't there. Lebron obviously sent his people there for a reason.

The sense the Knicks get is that James will likely re-sign with the Cavs.

Where did you get that second quote from? Not on his twitter.

Did you read the full article? That was the Knicks "officials" feelings on Thursday. That was before all of the great meetings. That was before getting Amare interested. Knicks felt on Thursday he would re up. Why? Because they didn't have any interest yet from anybody. Things have changed every 2 seconds since then.

From Marc Berman

" Knicks' Glen Grunwald and Scott O'Neil met only with the agent, not LeBron James, Saturday morning. "

Now with that being said why would they meet with the agent for a last chance effort to convince Lebron to come to NYC. I think the reason they met with just the Agent which sounds logical is because they are discussing contract numbers i could be wrong but thats how i see it, why would the Knicks want to pitch to the agent without Lebron being present makes no sense i think ...

It's clear Windy had no idea about this. He's scrambling to throw sand on it.

Since twitter, as @matthewcerrone would say, is the "wild west". I'm getting bits and pieces of info.but something's up. Desperation?...

Something is up unless this Tommy guy don't truely know nothing. On his twitter he keeps saying no one can confirm anything.
