The first ep of Sasami-san@Ganbaranai was...engaging. But it remains to be seen if they can make a show of this.

Turns out Tamako Market is about a talking bird. idk... :dontknow:

I liked it, kind of has like a bakemonogatari vibe going on

There was definitely something there. I'm not completely sold yet, but we'll see.

So I've watched: Tamako Market, Vividred Operation, and Boku wa Tomodachi so far

Vividred Operation:
Liked it a lot. Had a lot of the same energy of Strike Witches. Transformation sequence was well done. 1st ep was a winner for me. Seems to be heading into sci-fi magical girl territory.

Tamako Market:

This was pretty good too. It was a bit boring but with KyoAni you know something is gonna happen. Interesting cliffhanger. And it has all of the moe-blob elements I was looking for! Also the bird is voiced by the same dude who was Kayneth in Fate/Zero so I can't stop imagining him whenever the bird talks. And the animation was not nearly as crisp as I expected. Hopefully that picks up.

Boku wa Tomodachi:
Thought it was hilarious, especially the ending. Jeez I couldn't stop laughing after that part. Bunch of new characters in the opening, I am interested in seeing them.

Senyuu... what a waste.
Bakumatsu... eh not exactly anything great.
The Unlimited... one show I actually am intrigued by.
Mayouu Maou Yuusha... not exactly what I had in mind.
Cuticle Detective Inaba... its silly, but in this weak season for me, I'll follow it.

Let me know what you think.

So I just watched it. Reminds me of Spice and Wolf. I'm actually intrigued by it. The characters are all nicely drawn (ARMS!) and I want to hear more about the agricultural production of the southern kingdoms :D

Me too. Holo and Lawrence are such a great duo. If Mayouu turns out anything like that I would be thrilled

Anyone else really liking Sasami? I think SHAFT is trying too hard to force feed references and rehash jokes from old series, but it is very interesting. Love the sister trio

It didn't seem to me have any of the atmosphere that Spice and Wolf had. I had to drop it, which is okay because there's other stuff to watch.

I didn't get that those girls were supposed to be sisters. When in the episode does it say that? I've only seen the first ep. It seemed promising though.

The older brother calls them the Yagami Sisters. I forget when

Just watched the first ep of Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?
Pretty interesting! Seems like it will have a decent amount of action and the setting has a lot of potential.
Also a half-Australian/half-Japanese seiyuu is making her voice acting debut as one of the main characters which is pretty cool

I must have missed that. The second episode makes it clear in any event. I'm intrigued by the show, although I think it runs the risk of trying too hard to be wacky.

I watched the first two. It's not that I thought it was awful, but I just have too much other stuff to watch to keep going with something that I'm not into. The awesomeness of Full Metal Alchemist beckons.

The first episode of Vividred was pretty cool. I'm going to try a couple more and see if I get into it.

Vividred is the show of the season for me so far. It's well put together. I get a blend of a lot of different things. And that opening is just too good!
