KB2011 MOCK: 20th Pick Wolves Select Nikola Vucevic

This is the Wolves 2nd pick in the 1st round (took Derrick Williams with the 2nd overall pick). Does Kahn go for BPA, need or a perhaps another PG? Hmm... :wink:

Or maybe this pick will be traded and it will be someone else picking here?

With the 20th Pick in the 2011 NBA Draft the Minnesota Timberwolves select...

Ok, ok, so with Rubio coming over I would think that the Wolves would probably want someone that they can put on the floor with him and finish plays. Best finisher left is Iman Shumpert so I'll go with him. Besides, Shumpert is kinda a PG so that should get Kahn's attention (especially if they deal Flynn).

Bertans to stash overseas. I doubt they even keep this pick but if they do, in true Kahn form, they will likely look for an appreciating asset moreso than a player. Bertans will be coming to the NBA no time soon in all likelihood.

I would have said Bertans too since the Wolves might be running low on roster spots but they'd be overflowed with SF talent in Beasley, Wes Johnson, Williams and now Bertans. Vucevic can actually give them minutes at Center, something they can use as they can't bank on Darko/Anthony "I suck" Randolph to play the 5 well.

If Kanter went 2nd, then Bertans would make great sense here.
