Sucks to be an artist in the music industry today. LongLiveA$AP leaked nearly a month in advance.

I like what I've heard so far, which is about half the album. Not as good as GKMC or Life is Good, but probably up there with any other rap/hip-hop album this year.

It doesn't matter. Artists don't make most of their money off albums.

I know it's not where they make most of their money, but they're still losing a good amount due to it.

If anyone wants to take a trip down memory lane, both Ali Vegas and Butta Verses dropped a mixtape this month.

R.I.P. Capital Steez, at 19 he was on a level lyrically that was way above most of the fools on the radio today and his content was actually relevant and legitimate...I hate to hear this news.

so, im sure you guys know that Iman Shumpert dropped a mixtape a few days ago

At first it was like "woah, haha, A Knick has a mixtape out, pretty cool!"

Then i took a legitimate listen, and Shump has some skills man...

These 2 songs stuck out to me:

I listened to the first half and skimmed the second half, it sounds as if he's trapped between Old Wale and MMG Wale.

My exact thoughts. Too many MMG type beats on there for me. I really wish he'd cut ties with them, even though I like his chemistry with Meek Mill.
