It's only old news if you've seen/heard about it before. It's new news, if you're someone such as myself who've worked alot of hours yesterday and today, and never had a chance to read up/catch up on the latest developing situation/story in regards to Jeremy Lin recently jogging. Great news for Knick fans.

Don't know if this has already been posted. Quite a few highlights even from his days with the GSW.

Also, I've thought about the whole Steve Nash vs. Jeremy Lin thing and I guess it actually could be a win-win situation for both Lin and the Knicks if they let Lin go for Nash. I'm a fan of both Nash and Lin so I want them both to succeed. If this happened I could root for the Knicks (because I'd like to see Nash win a championship) and whatever team Lin signs with :) . As a Nash fan I understand why a team that believes it's contending for a championship would want Steve Nash to be their pg. His style of setting up teammates could be great on a team like the Knicks that already has Amare and Melo. Lin, on the other hand, has (in my opinion) tremendous potential and could join a team that's building for the future (the next OKC).

Plus, getting let go by the Knicks could serve as further motivation for Lin as he can add them to his list of teams that decided he wasn't good enough, and set out with a vengeance to prove them wrong. It would make his story even better. I know it isn't likely, but both sides get something out of it. The Knicks become the instant contenders that they and their fans want them to be, and Lin gets a chance to develop without outlandish expectations and even more motivation. Yes, New York might lose some fans, but sometimes teams have to make tough decisions, and a championship in the short term may mean more to the Knicks than more fans.

So in short, fans of Lin shouldn't be discouraged if the Knicks choose Nash over Lin. Knicks fans have felt deprived of a good team for a long time, it's understandable that they want a championship contending team ASAP and might not want to invest in a developing player like Lin. Jeremy will probably get a chance to prove himself on another team if he's let go anyways, and he could be even more motivated.

Gettouttahea22 do you have a job right now or are in college ? Wouldn't it serve as a great motivation for you if your employer or college simply let go of you today ? Do you know how ridiculous you sound?

Haven't you ever heard of having a chip on your shoulder? You don't think there are guys who play harder because they want to prove doubters wrong? Why is that so ridiculous?

Also, why attack me personally? Can't you disagree with me in a civil manner, without the slander? There's no need to call me a "troll" or to say that all of my posts are "bait". Have you looked up all of my posts? Have I ever been suspended? I've been a fan of Lin since he went to Harvard. How many of you can say the same?

Wow worse written article I have seen - the article went from talking about his knee to bashing the Knicks saying they will not even pass 1st round, then bashing Lin by saying he won't help at all.. WTF?!

Jeremy Lin lightly jogs, shoots at practice. Woodson still hopes he can return in the 2nd round. http://t.co/UprLE4GB #Knicks
