Im confused on J'Covan Brown myself..

As shmeakeone pointed out, He averaged 20ppg on a solid Longhorns team, and almost 4 assist.

Its hard to look at those numbers and wonder why this guy isnt being looked at higher.
But, on the other hand, as Paco pointed out..he's not a good defender, not that good of an athlete, and hes really SG built like a PG.

He's the exact opposite of Miles Plumlee, but they're similar prospects..
One, you look at stats, and you're impressed, then you look at the physical..and you're disappointed.
The other, amazing athlete & size, but terrible ball player.

Those are 2 guys i'll be keeping my eyes on long-term.

Andre Miller is poorly conditioned yet he's extremely effective.

If he's putting up 20/4 he can weigh 250 & I wouldn't care.

That's because he has great vision, is great passer, and has an incredibly high BBIQ.

Brown has none of the above.

The Knicks seem to historically do well in the 40's. If we can find a Fields, Ariza or Harrelson level player I'd be very content

DraftExpress, SheridanHoops and NBAdraft.net all have the Knicks taking Darius Johnson-Odom.

I wish. This reminds me of Shumpert being labeled a 2nd round pick the entire pre-draft process. I love mock drafts and read most of them, but they always turn out being 80% wrong. There are always like 2-3 project first rounders that fall to the 2nd round, there are always a bunch of random Euros that get taken, and there are always red flags that no one hears about til the draft.

Johnson-Odom is actually my #1 guy in terms of a somewhat realistic target, however I don't expect him to be there. He's under-sized but he's also athletic as hell. Turns out he was always called 6'3" but only measure in at 6'2" with shoes.

"Wisconsin guard Jordan Taylor one of workout guys for #Knicks tomorrow."

"Glover of Iona is another participant tomorrow for #Knicks."

- Marc Berman
---------------------
"Knicks will work out Gs Larry Anderson and Casper Ware (Long Beach State), Adam Sollazzo (E. Tenn. St) and Jordan Taylor (Wisc) tomorrow…"

"Also working out for the Knicks tomorrow are Iona Forward Mike Glover and Drew Gordon of New Mexico State."

- Al Iannazzone

Adam Sollazzo is a 6'6 PG. :o

The only thing I'm worried about Odom is if he can be a solid play maker .. at least better than Douglas. Cause I don't want to draft a Douglas clone.

If he's there I'd select him over all others , but he's gonna go early 2nd round. He reminds me of Ron Artest.
