Yet the Bulls still play Rose and Deng ;)

What annoys me most about J.R. is his goddamn confidence in himself. Sure, he can get off a decent shot without the help of set plays/screens, etc., but that doesn't mean he has to publicly declare a J.R.-iso every time he touches the ball. Even worse, his mentality doesn't change an iota when he's having an off night -- he couldn't give less of a s*** that his shot isn't falling, he'll chuck one up anyways. It's almost Kobe-like, really.

I was gonna say John Starks-like to keep it Knicks-related.

I haven't looked up the numbers but if fields' +\- is CONSISTENTLY +, then his presence on the court must be correcting some underlying problem we haven't spotted. I agree that we need to invest in Landry for long term gain but we are in no position to do so given our records. Not playing him did cost us the Indiana game though.

I am more concerned with our point guard situation then with fields we have 3 roster spots at point guard baron, bibby, and douglas that aren't giving us any production at our point guard situation. Baron davis gives us less then half effort, douglas has less then 5 percent impact and bibby he so done that he can go old folks home and just retired i never liked that signing at all.

He is great at consistently creating bad shots and then taking them.

Your point? JR had 14 points off 22 shots on Sunday.

JR could be 0-30, and teams will still respect his shot and think it's going in. Teams don't respect Landry's shot at all. They were putting Noah on him because he can't shoot over him, and he is not fast enough to drive by him.

Fields is a player who cant defend nor hit a jump shot....you have to be able to do one or the other...

Yet we are way worse when JR is on the floor. Funny? Not to me.

Fields does some nice things at times but overall, he's pretty much pure trash. Can't call him a bust because he was drafted just about right. Get over it. I'm going to give him one more season to redeem himself.

I guess people still can't appreciate some of the good things Fields does on the court. He's a glue player.

Basically you can't play 5 guys at the same time who are looking to shoot. Even 4 is too much. You need a few unselfish players who are looking to pass first.

I agree with you, and although fields makes you cringe when he takes shots off the dribble, the guy is better in an uptempo offense and he plays hard.... he is a glue guy.. but really that doesn't matter to most at this point... the blood is in the water....
