NYK vs MIA 2012 1st round playoff, a reunion of 2003 class.Thats what faith must be...
1st pick LBJ
3rd pick Melo
4th pick Bosh
5th pick DWade
I'll predict whoever win this, is going to win it all.
P.S. also James Jones was 49th pick that year lol.

Yeah, and we got stuck with Michael Sweetney during that draft. What an outstanding/excellent draft pick we made by selecting Sweetney, I guess our front office thought we were drafting the next Patrick Ewing, all because he was a Georgetown university prospect...

We traded Sweetney at good value... As a Knick he was every bit Zach Randolph potential

You've got to be kidding me man. He was traded to Chicago for Eddy Curry and Antonio Davis. You do know what Curry did to our franchise, correct?
On a side note, Sweetney never had Zach Randolph potential, never. He was an awful player, over weight, laughing stock footwork, no shot etc, etc. The perfect example of trash.
How can you consider getting a career bust in Curry along with an aging Davis was a good value type of trade? The draft pick was horrible, the trade was even worse.

And one more reminder of how epically bad the Darko draft choice was.

definitely not fate
Melo forced his way to NY and NY was a lower seed type team while Miami is a higher seed type team. Also the Heat definitely colluded to bring together the 3 stars years in advance.
This is more of a match up between 2 miscreant forces.

Mike Sweetney? Knicks Mike Sweetney? ...FOH!
Only real issue Sweets had was the weight problem, and the fact that he was undersized for the 4 spot in the NBA. He had a solid low post game, rebounded well for size & COULD occasionally hit the little spot-up mid-range jumper.
He developed at decent pace under then big man coach Mark Aguirre, considering we only had Sweetney for two seasons.. he was ALRIGHT!
No he's wasn't an All-Star, but he was far from "Trash" as a Knick.
