You have all practically given up on a team that has and will show fight. I can guarantee that, even if we lose this series, we wont do it without a fight. Stop crying, act like real fans, Show the team your support and grit. We aren't **** heat fans, we are knicks fans. We have endured years of pain and struggling. We have seen terrible knee injuries and players go down before. We have also seen teams come back from the unthinkable. It may have been a while, but thats why this is a team sport. One player doesn't dictate a win or loss. Dont give up, I bet you the team hasn't.

How long have you been a fan? How long have you've been disappointed, some of us have been with this team longer than you have probably been able to spell knicks, so while I agree, let's not give up on our team, I understand the loss of faith at times, I have these feelings at times myself but you can bet inside I say we're gonna kick our opponents ass next game!!! So I understand and respect what you're trying to say, I will respectfully advise you that you're comments are very general and need to be more specific for accuracy.

Word of advice, many like myself are very sensitive during these times with our Knicks.......that is all!!

I'm trying so hard to be nice, nothing against you....yet!!!! You are forgiven because I am sure you do not have a real clue about us long time diehard Knick Fans!!

Ive been a knicks fan since I was 4. Thats 20. I can remember the knicks of the 90's. I remember watching all the playoff games and the years of no hope. Does that make me any less of a knicks fan? no. Im sure you are an older gentlemen who has felt the pain just as bad as I have. Doesnt matter. Pain is pain, no matter how old or how new.

I agree with you, I definetly see your point. I'm over 50, so you see where I'm coming from and being born in bensonhurst and raised in C.I. (I'm sure you know where that is) I don't need to say any more. We sometimes get down on our boys, but we love them and have been listening to haters like J.B., Barkley, etc. for far too long and yearn to shut them up, but good. Many of us will go through this emotional swings about our team but when we finally win it all, we will make up for all of this!!

I appreciate and respect your response and opinion. We may lose, but we will never give up and we will never, ever lay down!!!

"Gil wrote"]We're not winning anything without Shumpert out there. I think the majority of us would still have some hope left if he was available." That makes it harder true, and I can understand that this lost was disheartening, and it feels like we couldn't get a break. However this is not the time to give up. I been rooting for the Knicks for over 40 years. Don't let the ballboy status fool you. This is the time when the team and the fans suppose to show their heart. Lets hope this injury doesn't take away from Shumpert game.

I'm not giving up on the team, i know they will fight it out to the bitter end. win or lose, but i have given up on any expectation of the NBA and the referees to fix what has already been done and calling the series fair. that also go's for any other team in the league that has to face the refs and the favorited heat. If something isn't done in the near future this will keep happening.. i guess the NBA doesn't really care as long they make money and have their fan boys, banwagoners, ect.

This go's back to last years playoff.. different year same ****. it's getting old real fast i didn't root for the team i love all season to be played like this in the end. I know the knicks could of played alot better, didn't and it's one game, but all that other crap isn't helping.

Hey, great post OP.

I just returned from a bogus ban from the GB. So with my first chance to post since the playoffs have begun, let me smoke this bowl and tell you that this sh*t ain't over. Far from it. The Heat may have whipped this team's ass but it still only counts as one win.

I read it somewhere in another thread...someone said...."this series hasn't begun until a road team wins a game". I like that stance. Knicks can go out there and steal a game Monday and we'd all be as confident as we possibly could be.

As for Shumpert....I'm still fighting back tears. That just plain sucks and it definitely sucked the spirit out of me Saturday and all day yesterday. But I'm back and ready to watch game 2 with wide eyes. Melo and Tyson are due for big games. Game 2 will be much more interesting.

The thing with me is everyone is saying, "well we can still make it a series!"

Man....f that. I felt like we had a legit shot at beating these guys. Not just hanging with them, but winning four times!

But after a.) Losing Shump (huge loss....HUGE...whos gonna check Wade now? Fields or JR? Lulzzz)...b.) watching Woodson get outcoached in every facet of the game...c.) Lebron flop his way to unlimited free throw attempts...and d.) Amare get reduced to a useless waste of 20 mil a year....plus Tyson is sick and Baron cant play more than 20 mins a night....

Someone please explain why anyone would be crazy enough to believe we can win even one game now? Im seriously looking for reasons to be optimistic, because none of the issues listed above are gonna resolve themselves anytime soon.
