also the fact Lin might be able to play.
Just give me that knicks, thats all I ask.
.
Even if they get blown out in game 4 at least just give me game 3 so I have 2 days to dream!
if we lose game 3 and win game 4 I think that is nothing but a pity game...it wouldn't matter to me
I want game 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The funny thing is that if we somehow win game 3, I think all of us would be totally convinced the momentum swung back in our favor and start creating threads about the next series.
which is why i want game 3...most likely the good feelings will only last 2 days and the heat will most likely pull out game 4 but make me a dreamer make me a believer!!!
Give the knicks fans something to dream about...imagine this board friday after a win...there will be positive thoughts like "we just defender home court, we can win game 4 and its a best of 3 series now"
regardless if we get smacked in game 4...this fan base needs this game just have a couple days to actually think we have a chance!

All those people that wanted the Heat, they got it.
I knew that 1 win would be a realistic expectation if we faced the Heat and anything more would be pleasant surprise for me. That's why I don't get all teared up about the losses. Honestly, it's sometimes better to think with your head than with your heart.

Finished the season on a high note ... played some excellent basketball ... for an extended period. And now due to injuries and a lack of confidence or energy, we're on the verge of a bad ending.
We finished with a bang in the last 24, and now it looks like we're going out with a whimper.
I hate it.
This team was up and down all season, and they had a 50-50 chance to end on an up.
Things just didn't break their way. That's basketball for ya.
Upside: Much to look forward to for next season. I know that doesn't seem like much right now, but it is what it is. They'll re-focus and come back in a season where players aren't getting injured every ten minutes.
The Knicks board is like a group of pre-teen Twilight fans. -Waya

And all of these 'better with Amare out' threads are more of the same.
Huge reality check coming, IMO. I hate even saying it, but I think it's the truth.

Not necessarily huge. I think they were going to get a lift from being at MSG and Tyson feeling better with or without Amar'e. Bench guys are going to play better. But, I agree, we are going to miss Amar'e.

Game 3, I expect our guys to be ready for war. Game 2, Melo came out firing, but did not get other guys involved. Our bonus has been our bench. If our game plan is get the ball to Melo, we can't start guys who could give us lifts off the bench. Fields can penetrate, JR can penetrate. Start Toney Douglas vs Wade. In fact:
Chandler
Jorty
Melo
Douglas
Davis
Start them.
Bench would have Novak, Fields, JR Bibby and Jeffries.
There is no asterisk on ANY N.B.A. titles.
Numbers don't lie, people who use them do

Francesa was talking about how this game 3 is huge, just to avoid the losing streak record. Said it's a culture changer. You thought they turned a corner going 18-6, but then these two games put them back in the same old Knicks category
