You might want to consider a pre owned ESQ. They normally go for about $350 but I have seen them on Ebay for under $100. ESQ is made by Movado so it is going to be a quality watch. I wouldn't worry about the watch breaking down as far as movement. If it is in good condition, you are more than likely not going to have a problem

O.T.: Watches

I've heard mixed reviews on Invictas so be careful with those. Personally I'm a Citizen Eco Drive fan too. But I'm a big guy and I like the big face on my wrist...that said the $125 Citizen is a good look...try your local BJs, Costco or Sam's Club too.

I do have an older Citizen that I was going to sell on eBay if you're interested. Respond and I can send you pics tonight.

For budget, Citizen, Seiko, Hamilton. Seiko Spirit, Seiko's midrange line from Japan run around 300-500.

Might want to look at used 60s-70s Longines, 70's Omegas, manual wind IWCs, new Stowas, new Sinn as well for sub 1000 range.

All those clothing brand watches like CK, Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors, DKNY, etc are rebranded armitrons. I think only Dior, and Luis Vuitton watches use Zenith movements.

I'm a huge fan of Rolex too. I personally love my 16610 LV! Do you own any or what is your favorite model?

I had a datejust my brother let me hold while he was away for a few years.... I have a big anniversary comming up in july so I know my wife is planning to get me one.. either a rolex or an omega.... I really want a stainless steel Air king something low key. I love watches, I really don't mess with other jewelry. there is something about a great watch that just makes the outfit.. you know what I'm saying?

Yeah I know what you mean. I also love the fact that Rolex holds its value so well over time. It's not like throwing $$ away on clothes that will have no value or a car that will depreciate. Usually it will stay worth somewhere around the amount you pay for it.

Yup, I wear this regularly: Image

I have been looking for a more casual watch to wear on the weekends though when I'm not in a suit and tie. Will spend $400 - $1000 if necessary. I have been thinking of maybe leather band with a nice face, does anyone got any ideas?

I like Hamilton watch, preferably the older stuff. Don't be like everyone else. This would set you apart the other douche bags. Wear this watch and get the job.

EDIT: Assuming you're wearing a brown suit. Gotta go with a black band if wearing a dark/navy blue, grey or charcoal suit.

Can't go wrong with a Movado either. Classy looking watch.

This one is perfect. Its around $125. Its not too flashy, but people will notice it and it goes with every business casual/professional outfit as its not a large silver piece.

The simple elegant look is what you're looking for. GL!
That is a sexy watch right there, don't see it online for $125 though, more in the $200 range.
checked costco still no go on 125
