You want a potential late bloomer, go with the younger, athletic player with NBA ready body, the guy that Paco mentioned, Negueba Samake. He wants in the NBA and he's probably at Ian Mahinmi rookie level right now. The only difference is you won't have to waste a first round pick on him, or probably even a pick at all.

Dallas is really interested in him...so can't be that bad. And considering the Knicks restrictive cap situation and lack of a 1st round pick (nor any method of getting another pick), if Mejri is willing to take whatever the Knicks can give him without dipping into their Lin fund, might as well.

And word if Golden State has had an interest in him? Have it copy as much as with Lin, and there can be the center version of Lin and have... Mejrisanity!
