I can't speak to the validity of the article but it annoys me when people try to blame music on human behavior. Everyone has a choice in life. The choice or choices we have to make may not always be easy or turn out well but we have the opportunity to make them. Rap music doesn't make people kill or rob. There is no blanket explanation for crime despite the best efforts of criminologists to find one over the course of more 100 years. Individuals make individual decisions in that regard. If it's in you to kill or rape or maim then it was always in you, not something that music made happen.
Has anyone ever seen Paul Pierce and Plenette Pierson together? I rest my case.

Please don't tell me you're taking this seriously...

This reads exactly like an amateur mystery/spy novel. A 15 year old could have written this up.

I believe it to be true. Even Porfessor Griff(Public Enemy) stated this was the case of moving hiphop/rap from a political movement to one revolved around gangsta rap. The music industry has always been suspect in their push for satanic messages and corrupt practices. People who say music doesn't influence young people are just naive. The music execs now push homosexuality into hip hop mainstream. Look at how some of the rappers dress today, very similar to homosexual attire. More rapping occultists today then ever, and it's not by accident. There's a reason Jay'-Z promotes Aleister Crowley and other demonic messages and symbols. This is not by accident and is actually a concerted effort by the music industry.

Jay'z quoting the guy below him, a well known occultist. Never knew hiphop was into occult practices.

What kills me about this is the dude got thrown out before any real information was stated. He even admits he does not know what was going on. This is all fueled by imagination.

The music business is dirty. Been dirty from before hip hop. To be more specific, talented acts from poor inner city neighborhoods being exploited and taken advantage of in the 60s and 70s. Maybe even earlier. And it still goes on today.

A 50k cash advance and 3-8% royalty payments is standard for most new acts. When you sign a deal you sign over your rights. Your creation does not belong to you. It belongs to them. And in return they give you pennies on the dollar.

But thats a whole nother story.

Getting back to this. A person with criminal intentions does not need much motivation. Its true music has influenced people to do things they might not normally do. For better and for worse. Its no different than the power rangers show that had little kids out there kicking each others asses in the projects.

It would not surprise me at all if a group of private prison owners reached out to some record companies seeking investments or partnership. I think we all have been offered a bad business proposal before. So I wont act as if this is way to off the wall to believe.

But the dude who is trying to blow the whistle on something that he claims happened over 20 years ago was not even in the room long enough to know what was being proposed. He heard the first few lines of the proposal and got kicked out. So what does he know?

Lets say it did happen. Its still his imagination. He has so little information on it, nothing can be done. So whats the point? Clear your mind of what your imagination filled?

If the point is that the music business is in bed with some bad people, and doing some bad things, I will point to the grass and say its green.

And I can kill this thing once and for all. The meeting was in 91. 3-4 years later hip POP took the world by storm. Gangster rap was fought off by politicians. You didnt turn the radio on and hear spice 1 or kool g rapp. You heard mase. Puff daddy.

Radio and music television HEAVILY censored songs and videos. If you wanted the raw gangster content you had to purchase the record. So when he says the airways were flooded with gangster rap in a attempt to brainwash people to go into private prisons its almost funny.

Really 91-94 was the golden era. Most of the music at that time was b-boy hip hop. The beats and even lyrics became more complex over the boom bap tr808 produced sounds of the 80s.

During this time hop hop was growing and everyone and their mother was doing what they could to get a piece of it. Soft drinks. Fast food. Clothing makers. Snacks. Everyone was trying to get a piece.

And the record companies were ripping most of if not all those artists off. BAD.

So really I dont see the point. The music business is dirty. What else is new. The guy was not even in the room long enough to know exactly what was going on and who was involved. He dont know nothing. He should write a article about how much it REALLY costs a record company to finance a record. How much they REALLY make. And how much they pay the creators of the product. There is so much dirt and drugs in music. So many creative but emotionally damaged people being taken advantage of till they are broke and half way dead.

I messed around in music for many years in the 90s. Its dirty. Always has and always will be.

I think this guy let his imagination get the best of him for 20 plus years. I hope he feels better getting it off his chest. Good read. But really pointless and factless.

Lol. Let me show occult practices and symbols to get people talking. That makes absolutely no sense. Perhaps he is pushing these occult practices that his masters, the record execs, tell him to push. When he does so, he is rewarded.

Were talking about it right now, and so has many other YouTube videos with over 500k views.

Why? Because of the imagery in his videos.

youtube videos by other people doesn't get Jay-z paid. In fact, the people who talk about it on youtube are turned off once the learn about the reality of his messages. I'd say it has a overall net negative effect. Can't see how this helps him generate revenue. One thing is for certain, the people behind the scenes are happy he is doing so.

Very interesting read.

For those who don't believe that music can affect human behavior you should really do some research on the subject. We just discussed this at length in one of my sociology classes and you would be surprised at how much it can affect human behavior. Believe it or not we use music at a very early age as a teaching technique (just equate back to how you actually learned the alphabet).

Good news!

I just signed a gay rapper who is also a high wizard of The Golden Dawn. My record label, By Any Deal Necessary, will release this new artist, Gay-Z, next month. The record is called Back Door Magic and the first single will be Gecko He Do You, a duet with Japanese turntable master Rice Cracka.
