I heard they started shooting a sequel. The plot is about two guys who act like babies and force their teams to go through a season of hell because they want to be traded. It's a happy ending though, both teams who went through all the drama end up better off and the superstars end up on mediocre teams struggling to be a middle of the pack eastern conference team.

Title of the movie is "Selfish Bastards".

Melo and Howard are the bad guys. Jeremy Lin appears at the end as the Chinese hero, who through hard work and team play and being ethnically Chinese, saves the day.
