i dont get the hate. i never once thought badly of the guy. i think he calls a fair game, and i appreciate that especially when watching other teams announcers. props to the Raptors guys btw...

but the difference between Breen and Tommy Heinsohn is night and day.......

Yeah, I like the Raptors announcers. Clippers crew are also fun to listen to.

Breen is such a FAKE -- he couldn't stop praising NATE ROBINSON, a guy he killed every night when Nate was a Knicks player.

well maybe because it took 8 years for nate to finally realize his game sucked and had to learn how to run an offense.

When the Knicks are playing bad he just blows the other team and never lets up and it literally hurts my ears.

Breen is an apologist for the Refs and is annoying as hell. He spends so much time trying to be "fair and balanced" that he comes across as negative. He is always riding JR Smith although Smith's shot selection and play has improved greatly this season, with a few lapses, he always seems to focus on what players did wrong and not what they are doing right.

I rather listen to Mike Crispino personally....

Agree, Breen seems to live on past reputations i.e. JR and last year Carmelo.
He is a good color man, but for the Knicks he sure seems to kill our players whenever he can.

+1 he was killing me all game I wish someone spit on the back of his head..I'm tired of him now he's been like this for a long time..I mean ur not on espn ur on msg knick fans are watching how many times is he gonna say this is the toughest defense the knicks face yea we get it we know shut up..how many times he said knicks just getting hammered here ..ok as fans we're frustrated watching the game what makes u think we wanna hear u continue to say knicks getting hammered ...he hates Melo & Jr ..loves the other teams star players ... Wow, this thread needs to die. There's enough to complain about tonight's game, people are now turning to our announcer. The best announcer there is in the NBA. Shut up. Be glad we have him and not some monotone, boring guy calling our games like Ian Eagle.
