Protecting home is my number one concern as well. It's vital that we make MSG a tough place to play as it has been in the past.

It'd be kinda sad if we lose our perfect homecourt record vs. Cleveland but this team gives us always trouble and I already dread Varejao working the boards...

Just read on rotoworld that Varejao injured his ankle and is considered day-to-day. Usually I want to face opponents at 100% but considering we are without our best offensive players and best defender I wouldn't mind Varejao taking care of his ankle and sitting this one out.

Kyrie suffered a broken jaw yesterday but will play.

Ok , their main stars are pretty beaten up....we better win this one.

With Melo out, this game is going to be a sleeper. Kyrie's going to be self conscious with his mask and we're going to demolish his team. On offense, I want to see Felton be more selective with his shots and I'd love for JR to continue to hit his shots, at 50%. That would be ideal.

I don't think any game is a trap when you're playing without Melo. Whether it's the Heat or the Cavs these guys oughta know they're not good enough without Mel to think they can beat any team just by showing up.

No Melo, which is big, but no Sheed ,basically means no back up PF\C.

This will be a tough game to win.

Camby being healthy would have offset Sheed some, but they are both out, so it's KT for 10 minutes. And basically the Knicks will be going small all game long with Smith\Brewer\Kidd\ at SF\SG

I hate this matchup. Knicks are double digit favorites and I feel like the Cavs could even steal the game outright. With no Melo they are such a tough matchup.

that's the good thing about having a deep team. you can rest your vets vs. lesser opponents in december.
