LMAO if you think TV isn't controlled. You are seriously lacking in the comprehension department if you truly believe our media is independent and honest. Another fact you may not know... The Major media outlets(CNN,FOX,NBC<NYT) are all owned by a very small group of conglomerates. It's not free speech like they make you believe. Everything is controlled. Please go research MK-Ultra for a start. Give it a go.

Also read up on this while you're at it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concentrat ... _ownership

When you don't watch TV and you don't follow the main stream media, life is much better. When you buy into their ideas it creates more problems then it would ever fix. So many people that left America and their fame because of the power that control's it.

Agreed. I shut off the tv alongtime ago and stopped believing in the lies. I was just like these people. Caught up in the trap and just accept everything as it was delivered to me. I believed all the lies.

Glad I've been awaken. Troublesome when you try to explain what you learned to others, but they are so caught up in the way they were taught, they get defensive because it's asking them to challenge things they've been brainwashed to believe is true. Almost as if they are scared to accept any reality but the one they've been accustomed to. Not being able to trust their own government would just flip their worlds around and that's why they get defensive and abusive to anyone who challenged their reality. It is what it is. What can you do?

Wrong, I had knowledge over you. You didn't even know of the incident until I brought it to your attention. You assumed Gandhi freed the Indians because the British had a change of heart, which was foolish. You don't have knowledge of Subash Chandra Bose or any other Indians which were not taught to you by your school system. I'm filling you in the details with the rest.

You just like to think your right, I grabed a link that popped up under search about New madrid. Do further research to see all the scientific minds claiming very soon the New Madrid will go off causing a lot of destruction. The type that could cause marshal law. Just like the idea that super volcano Yellowstone National Park can create.

Reread it and try to understand it or stop trying to make it something its not. Tesla's research is very interesting to say the least doesn't imply that I want guns because their controlling the weather. What I am trying to say isn't something little kids should try to make fun of.

I really shouldn't make fun of you guys. Because you just don't know how the world works.

The government does most of it's "research" by giving grants to Universities. Especially in the study of energy research. There is no secret Dr. Evil lair where the US is running experiments and that it periodically has to kill off scientists to keep it a secret.

I'm sorry but what you are suggesting is nonsense. And I'll leave you with that. One day when, hopefully, you are old and none of your doomsday scenarios have come to pass you will see the folly in your beliefs.

Their misunderstanding everything so what is the point? Their bed times should be soon because they have school tomorrow, a place to learn. They need to take US history, every school teaches why its important to keep out gun laws.

DICK ACT of 1902 . . . CAN'T BE REPEALED (GUN CONTROL FORBIDDEN) The Trump Card Enacted by the Congress Further Asserting the Second Amendment as Untouchable
The Dick Act of 1902 also known as the Efficiency of Militia Bill H.R. 11654, of June 28, 1902 invalidates all so-called gun-control laws. It also divides the militia into three distinct and separate entities.
The Dick Act of 1902 cannot be repealed; to do so would violate bills of attainder and ex post facto laws which would be yet another gross violation of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The President of the United States has zero authority without violating the Constitution to call the National Guard to serve outside of their State borders.

Research this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnEZ6FdE9mE

JFK's speech shortly before he was assassinated...

The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know."

In my efforts to provide you a transcript of the attached file, I have discovered that the above paragraph is word for word the first 1:26.

The next 3 paragraphs and the first sentence of the next paragraph were omitted. I do not know why since I do not know what the editor of the original speech had in his or her mind. The file continues .....

"For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed."

End at 2:28 - This is a solid piece in the transcript but ends mid paragraph.

Several more paragraphs of the transcript are skipped and the file continues.......

"No President should fear public scrutinity of his program. For from that scrutiny comes understanding; and from that understanding comes support or opposition. And both are necessary. I am not asking your newspapers to support the Administration, but I am asking your help in the tremendous task of informing and alerting the American people. For I have complete confidence in the response and dedication of our citizens whenever they are fully informed.

I not only could not stifle controversy among your readers-- I welcome it. This Administration intends to be candid about its errors; for as a wise man once said: "An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it." We intend to accept full responsibility for our errors; and we expect you to point them out when we miss them.

Without debate, without criticism, no Administration and no country can succeed-- and no republic can survive. That is why the Athenian lawmaker Solon decreed it a crime for any citizen to shrink from controversy. And that is why our press was protected by the First (emphasized) Amendment-- the only business in America specifically protected by the Constitution-- not primarily to amuse and entertain, not to emphasize the trivial and sentimental, not to simply "give the public what it wants"--but to inform, to arouse, to reflect, to state our dangers and our opportunities, to indicate our crises and our choices, to lead, mold educate and sometimes even anger public opinion.

This means greater coverage and analysis of international news-- for it is no longer far away and foreign but close at hand and local. It means greater attention to improved understanding of the news as well as improved transmission. And it means, finally, that government at all levels, must meet its obligation to provide you with the fullest possible information outside the narrowest limits of national security...

This part ends at 4:52. mid sentence. It left out "--and we intend to do it." It also skips a paragraph and then the file continues ...

"And so it is to the printing press--to the recorder of mans deeds, the keeper of his conscience, the courier of his news-- that we look for strength and assistance, confident that with your help man will be what he was born to be: free and independent."

That's not the only video about the New Madrid being unsafe. There is a diversity of videos that do have wackos saying what seems to be crazy. I can't help them, but if that is the only research you've done then you haven't done your job.

Yes, government gives research grants to highly classified projects such as HAARP and directed energy systems to colleges where the classified research can easily be stolen. That totally makes sense. Hey we know there are spies among us but let's do our research openly. That totally makes the most sense.

Also what do you assume they do at the HAARP base in Alaska because it's completely classified? Seriously what do you think they do there?

I want to get this straight because there's a lot of hypocrites around... since the shootings happened...

"WE need our guns to protect from the government becoming a dictatorship"

I remember 10 years ago, right around the Patriot Act was passed and wireless tapping happened... and you hear the same people that is defending gun rights would say...

"I have nothing to hide from the government, they can listen to my conversation all they want! Are you hiding something?"

So what gives?

It sounds like the gun right advocates (crazy right wingers) only has 1 amendment in the US constitution. The rest.. who gives a ****!

NEWS FLASH - we fought this war called the "Cold War" with the a country called the "Soviet Union". It was called the "Cold" war because hositilities were fought in proxy, through espionage and diplomacy. The Soviet Union fell apart over twenty years ago so they are not a threat anymore. But in JFK's day the Soviet Union was a clear and present danger to the US and they were spying on us. So JFK is asking the press not to release information that could tell our former enemies of our counter espionage efforts. And he tells them to use their best judgement -

Is that why he(JFK) is opposed to secret societies and secret handshakes as he states in the video. Or that he wants us to be free and independent as we were meant to be. I can't believe you attempt to explain the cold war. You're a clown. I could run circles around you in US history. Don't even attempt to come at me.
