I think Birdman makes sense if they make a move on Metta World Peace. Metta is going to cost NY some young talent. White, Prigioni, Novack Amare.

White, Prigioni, Novak, Amare, and 2013 1st round pick

Apparently Z-Bo and Gay are available. I would rather have Z-Bo than K-Mart, but I don't know how much it would take to get Randolph. Would Amare + junk be enough?

Z-Bo ain't going anywhere. Gay is more likely to go than him. But it is kind of ridiculous, though. They got the funds to hire a no-talent scrub like Hollinger, but they going to have a fire sale?

THIS is a MUST!! Let Cope or Kurt go/trade for cash consideration or 2nd RD pick...IDC, but we need his mobility and tenacity on the defensive side...He looked pretty good for the Clips last season (considering).

The Grizz are taking the "broke" small market stuff to an extreme.

But I'd think it's one or the other, not both, and it would pave the perfect way to move the club.

They are in the top 10 in payroll.

If the griz are trying to get under the lux tax picking up amares contract is a good way not to make that happen

i understand the notion behind thinking White is the likely candidate but i personally feel like he can contribute more to the team than Cope. He's athletic and can play defense. He's also further insurance (back up wing) in case JR, SHump, Kidd or Brewer face an injury (i hope not). Cope has shown he has the ability to put the ball in the basket and i appreciate that. But offense is not the issue with this team, it is the defensive side. So i stand behind keeping James White.

Potential Squad:
Felton
Shump
Melo
Stat
Tyson
JR
KIdd
Brewer
Camby
Novak
Prig
KMart
White
Kurt
Sheed

Knicks need to pair down their 2-3 spot. Felton is Felton but we need someone with higher ceiling. Its a great time to make a move because Felton value cant be higher. Brandon is streaky but he brings great speed. Who but Kidd is better to mentor him. Its a special opportunity getting this kid on a rookie salary and being able to sign him with Bird rights. Were talking about the Atlantic Division with Rondo, Wall, Deron, Lowry.

i'm not sure what went on but one day you need to explain what happened to you.

I don't think it's coincidence the trade rumours started after Hollinger was hired.

Would loooove Zbo on this team. He'd fit in perfectly and be a RB machine. Unfortunately, I doubt they're much interested in Amare.... I don't think they trade in anyway, it'll be Gay.

Martin for White is a chance I'd take though. If he can't play, it won't be much of a loss from the other guy that won't play.

So basically if we sign K Mart, that likely means Rasheed will be out for awhile.

Then I really hope we don't need to sign K Mart then.

Much prefer Wallace to him.

Why is that? If we didn't get K-Mart, rasheed isn't gonna be automatically healthy.
