Kenyon makes sense if you consider that the Knicks are additionally looking to bring in Kyrie Irving. Doubt the Cavs do it, but Felton + Jr Smith + Novak + some draft picks for Kyrie/CJ Miles makes perfect sense for both teams. This way we have a future in Kyrie, as well as a championship material pg to dish to Stoudemire/Chandler.

Kyrie/Kidd
Shump/CJ Miles
Melo/Brewer
Stat/Kenyon/Sheed
Chandler/Camby

So yeah, Kenyon makes sense.

Dont get me wrong, i like kenyon alot. I'm just not sure about the reasons of the pickup myself. Yea they lost Sheed (for who knows how long) but they added Amare.... Were still kinda deep at the 4 and 5 in my opinion with chandler, Amare, Camby, and kurt and remember Melo plays alot at the 4.... Does this move Camby back in minutes again? Will martin even be ok with playing the minutes that camby is playing which, even though hes starting, isnt that much? Are they worried Amare is going to suffer a setback? Whatever though, bring him in lol

Am I reading this right? You're saying getting Igoudala over Amare would be a bad trade for us? Igoudala is twice the player Amare is at this point.

Losing Shumpert would suck but he's also coming off a major injury and Miller is as solid a vet as they come.

I don't see what's wrong with the trade. Not that I would mess with any chemistry now...but if we don't do well in the playoffs I don't see why a trade like this shouldn't be considered.
