Maybe he needs some rest? Keep in mind he is Shumps replacement, once he gets into the flow, brewer will be much better.

Not even getting the major love for Artest, he's playing OK, not that much better than Brewer overall.

This is assuming Brewer is in early-season form. I haven't been paying much attention to what Brewer is doing on the court, but the board consensus seems to be that he doesn't even deserve playing time. Can't say that about MWP, the way he's playing now.

Also, MWP has 25 pounds on Brewer and is a much better outside shooter. Pretty important differences.

But back on topic, IMO it would be worth cutting White just to get Kenyon in on a 10 day to have a look and see how he fits in with all his old teammates. Something tells me he'd stay on...

how do you figure? Your saying that you'd rather have Novak and brewer over artest and delonte or Kenyon? People need to hop off novaks sack. He does one thing really well, but is a COMPLETE LIABILITY IN EVERY ASPECT OF THE GAME OF BASKETBALL OUTSIDE OF THREE POINT SHOOTING.

seriously... We could sign Jason kapono right now to do the same exact thing Novak does. Come playoff time, id much rather have artest then Novak.

Hearing right now the #Knicks are likely doing some background on Kenyon Martin, but the team has not pulled any triggers yet.

I don't wanna do the fantasy ****, but if we traded for Artest and signed Kenyon, holy **** we would be a beastly team:

Felton
Shump
Artest
Melo
Chandler

Martin
Amar'e
Camby
Kidd
Smith
Sheed?

That's a scary ass team

I think Most feel, especially myself is that Brewer shouldn't be starting, but at most 15 minutes off the bench.

I think the guys knee is paining him, but is trying to play through it.

Not sure about where Artest has been playing great lately is coming from, the team itself has been losing alot and overall and his play has been inconsistent at best.

But i guess if i had to choose between two guys shooting threes, obviously Artest over brewer, but brewer alone doesn't get Artest.

You have to give up more, and the more cancells out the want imo.

Why would D'Antoni want Brewer when he supposedly plays defense?

So who's the one holding the cards in this...the Knicks or K-Mart? Because JZ seems to be implying we can sign him if we want. Yet I've seen other articles inferring that K-Mart is wary unless Sheed doesn't return.

Artest's #s have been up across the board compared to what he's been averaging the past several years.

No d Toni would love Novak and copeland both are players standing 6"10 and can shoot and play the stretch 4.

Only way it works if alot of players go because of artest contract

Kurt , cope , Novak , brewer

For

Mwp

Sign Kmart

Makes us a true defensive team. I'm sure mwp would play harder because he is in New York

If you really think lakers will try and fit no d Toni system

Stat, brewer , cope, Novak , white , 2nd round pick

For

Gasol and mwp

Knicks

Tyson - camby
Gasol- Kmart
Melo- mwp
Shump - JR
Felton- Kidd

Wow ....

Sheed is definitely coming back at some time. I don't see why he would rather sit around and make nothing when he can be paid and be on a team of guys he'll have a good time with, a winning team at that. He's not going to be a main piece on any team unless it's a bottom dweller. What fun is that at this stage?

Having sheed and Kmart is ideal
Just cut white
When shump comes back white doesn't even have a role as a 15 th man

You have sheed Kmart Kurt camby

All are insurances for each other and each can contribute when ever counted on

Than you have stat we do not know how he will hold up

The simple fact that were looking to sign Kenyon leads me to believe the knicks dont have faith in Amare

one thing has zero to do with the other

Does Brewer mean we have no faith in Shump?
Does Kidd mean we have no faith in Felton?
