The Kurt - Camby thing is too good to cut Kurt. 99 Knicks, our last great team.

White isn't getting any time. Shumpert will make that a certainty. Kenyon Martin gives us another former Nugget to add to J.R, Melo, Camby too.

Kenyon + Jason Kidd connection.

makes sense.

Chandler / Camby / KT
Stat / Wallace / Martin
Anthony / Novak / (Brewer plays 2 and 3)
Shumpert / Smith
Felton / Kidd / Prigioni

I think they can cut Copeland. With Stoudemire back it really eliminates/minimizes the need for what Copeland brings. Add Martin and that further minimizes what Copeland can do since Martin also is a capable enough offensive player off the bench.

Here's Martin talking about playoff basketball and hopefully a gander of what we'd be getting...

I don't know how people watch games and think Copeland is an NBA player.

He can score at the NBA level. And in doing so, he can help spread the court for Melo and/or JR. But he's pretty poor at everything else.

if Sheed's injury is serious, as much as I love him i'd cut him. Kurt Thomas can give you 10 decent minutes, and cope and white have small flashes, and don't anything too stupid.

Sign K-Mart, I've been all over this idea.

According to a Yahoo! report, the Knicks are contemplating whether to sign former Net Kenyon Martin as insurance for injured big man Rasheed Wallace.

Wallace has missed 12 straight games with an ailing left foot. If he is not waived Wednesday, his contract is fully guaranteed for the $1.4 million veteran’s minimum.

Nevertheless, a source said Martin signing with the Knicks is unlikely.

The 35-year-old Martin began his career with the Nets in 2000 and was a integral part of the team that went to two NBA Finals. Martin then spent seven seasons in Denver, playing with Anthony, before playing with the Clippers last season. Last year he averaged 5.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 22.4 minutes per game.

At the very least Copeland can score even if he couldn't do anything else.

Trade White. He's basically useless.

This is a no brainer. Waive Sheed and his non-guaranteed contract and pickup KMart on a 10 day contract until Sheed is ready again. Once Sheed is ready, you either keep KMart and drop white/KT or you drop KMart.

Can´t wait!

Sheed and Cope contracts are now guaranteed.

‏@HowardBeckNYT
Official date for all contracts to become guaranteed is Jan. 10. But teams have to make cuts 3 days in advance because of waiver process.

That sucks. I guess we can drop White or KT since both are pretty much useless when everybody is healthy.

They're not cutting Kurt, because they're smart. They know a veteran is more useful than a career journeyman who can do nothing but dunk and a 28-year old rookie who played in Belgium.

They can trade Brewer and James White too....do a 2 for 1 trade and have an open roster spot and bring in Kenyon
