lol @ the fight for the 8th seed in the west. houston lost, minny lost, lakers lost.

portland is winning atm. mavs gain ground just by not playing.

who wants it? i still say lakers can get it together enough to make the 8th spot. too much talent. i won't count them out until dwight gets traded lol.

Lakers are gonna miss the playoffs. Howard is likely to have surgery on that shoulder to be ready for next season IMO.

They'll either ride it out with Pau at the five this season and battle for that 8 or they'll trade Pau now for some young pieces and re-tool for one more run next season with Kobe/Nash.

Lakers not making the playoffs. Simply not happening.

P.S. Howard injured again.

Jeremy Lin:
12-13 HOU 43 43 33.2 0.423 0.281 0.770 0.6 3.2 3.8 6.0 2.0 0.4 3.0 2.6 12.0

Anybody else wants to bet that the world isn't round? That stats lie? that standing lie and so on?

P.S (1) - Bill Bradley disappeared even faster than TKF.
P.S. (2) - Thugger - Looks like the Lin debate will end even quicker that I thought.

Anyone who knows basketball knew this guy was no super duper star. He an average to slightly above average pg who got hyped due to being asian. Nice little story just like Tebow with his religion.

The Jeremy Lin thing is never going to end

He can play terribly 9 out of 10 games, but all people are going to talk about is that one game where he actually played well.

Because the dummies think that shows potential. Just like with Gallo "ZOMG DID YOU SEE THAT HE PLAYED WELL THIS IS WHAT I TOLD YOU ABOUT WATCH WHEN HE ENTERS HIS PRIME".

But they fail to realize that almost all players have these types of games in their careers. Hell look at someone like Jarret Jack lighting it up for GS in certain games this season. Dummies I tell you .

I think he'll make it fun. If he's still here at the start of March... then I panic and start throwing things. Right now teams have adjusted to cut off his drives and make him a spot shooter. As a whole, the Rox aren't putting up the kind of numbers they were as defenses have caught up to how to defend them. At some point they'll adjust back.

At the end of the day, this was a basketball call for me, not a stats call. Plus, somebody had to put their money where their mouth was on this thing.

Too little history to really come to a judgment off of stats but I thought he'd come back to last seasons (post Linsanity) numbers with a bit higher FG% as that often happens with 2nd/3rd year guys. I also said the Bulls should mail it in this season due to their offseason CRAP moves  Now I fear them more than any other team.

On the other hand I called a slow start for Gallo (it was), a big season for Mayo (it is), the Knicks at about 50 wins (seems that way), and the Ciips with a good chance to make the WCF (we shall see).

Win some, lose some...

I don't want to hear you complain about people talking Lin in this thread again. Clearly you love it.

No I only complain when you dummies make it out as if we lost out on a future perennial all star , 5 time world champ and first ballot hall of famer.

He is none of that. When you are losing time to Tony freaking Douglas then you need to start reevaluating yourself.

You're full of ****. Find that post from tonight. Or the past week. Really. Do it. I double dogg dare ya. It isn't there.

There were some people clowning him during the game and then FDR brought it up afterwards to make fun of me because he's winning the bet even though he still smells bad.

Are you new here? Did you not see the Lin threads during the summer. Or people like you and Bill Bradley hanging all up on Lin's nuts when he has a good game when he is just an average pg.

Is this the part where I hear "but but but but its only his real rookie season, the coach is using him wrong, but but but harden is dribbling too much"?
