Now I have to go "beat the bishop."

1. The post-game tits & ass are way more important than the post-game.

2. Amar'e looked excellent when Carmelo was out.

3. Shumpert looked pretty good.

4. We beat a bad Pistons team despite boredom and Jason Kidd's lack of perimeter defense.

HWingo has a good point

Even though i'm a heavy gif poster, sometimes you actually wanna discuss the game..especially for those who missed it, or couldnt catch the entire thing. Not sure if 2 PG threads is the solution, that'll just be weird. But im sure if we all put our minds to it we can come to a reasonable idea

Good to see Amar'e starting to get some offensive rhythm back but still needs to get better focus and energy with defending and rebounding. Also good to see Shump back on the court and even better to see him fairly effective in limited minutes. He's a game changer and play maker on both sides of the ball.

Coming into the game the respective team's records for the previous 10 games were:

Knicks 4-6

Pistons 7-3

Good win for the Knicks against a team who is starting to play much better lately after a horrible start to the season. Except for a run by the Pistons in the second half the Knicks pretty much controlled the game and the outcome wasn't in doubt.

What about:

Leaving the stickied, so to speak, game thread OPEN for GIFs post game.

Starting an additional PG analysis thread?

Thugger had a good idea. Limit the Gifs/women to just the first 3 pages. Then just get on with the BB talk.

It could be a comfortable corner if one of those gif ladies are awaiting you...

Look this was an exhibition game for the Knicks.

On the other side, the Pistons have a lot of very young talent. When Drummond and Monroe learn to play together, look out that's filthy inside play offense and defense.

The Piston guards are smallish, they are missing the post up element a younger Billups used to torture Boston with. Causing the Defense to react and giving Tayshaun and Rip the shots from the corners.

I think Frank is a horrible coach. Totally exposed once Kidd left.

So there is a lot of work to be done on the Pistons but the talent is there.

One wonders, if the Pistons drafted Melo instead of Darko where would they be?

omg I completely forgot

It must suck to be a Pistons fan right now after a game such as last night. Melo would've secured another decade of productive basket-ball for this franchise.
It just shows you even when you win a championship in this league, you have to stay cautious about your decisions and think multiple times before drafting. Dumars thought he could afford a gamble after winning a ring as a GM, picking Darko over Melo, but he just F'd up.
Not only he passed on Melo, but also Bosh, Wade... The 2003 NBA draft was deep.

I agree the Pistons have a talented frontcourt, Monroe, Drummond, Maxiell are solid, but their backcourt is trash. Brandon Knight & Rodney Stuckey are just bad. I mean Will Bynum looked like the best player on the Pistons after watching these guys playing...

The time for post game threads are over. 2013 is the year if good ass post game threads, and there are no good ass PGT's without good asses. Or post game talk.
