Trade I wish we could make (but highly unlikely)
Knicks send: Amar'e Stoudemire, Iman Shumpert
Hornets send: Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson
PG: Raymond Felton
SG: Eric Gordon
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Ryan Anderson
C: Tyson Chandler
That is as balanced of a starting lineup as it gets. Ryan Anderson is THE guy you want playing between Melo and Tyson. Gordon would be the type of scorer who could truly take over a game on nights when Melo is off.
BAT 8.0
NYK
HC: Alvin Gentry
PG: Jeff Teague / Steve Blake / Jannero Pargo
SG: Ray Allen / Raja Bell / Xavier Henry
SF: Alonzo Gee / Jared Dudley / Dominic McGuire
PF: Chris Bosh / Udonis Haslem / Lou Amundson
C: Tyson Chandler / Amir Johnson / Aaron Gray

Might as well throw in Anthony Davis for Kurt

Offseason
1- Get rid of Woodson along with his Veteran Squad of Wallace, Thomas, Copeland, White, Prigioni
2- Tyson, Amare, Melo, Shump, Felton/ Camby, Kidd, Novak are the only people signed beyond this season, get rid of Amare for spare parts Gordan/Ty Thomas from Charlotte
3- Sign someone useful with our Mini Mid level exception
4- Draft best player avaiable cuz the way we are going should be a decent pick

Don't expect too many changes in the off-season. Amare is still untradeable. Teams would rather amnesty their long term contracts and use that cap space than trading them for Amare. JR will get his MLE. We would still have the mini MLE due to JR being signed with early bird, so there might be a player there but most likely it will be another washed up veteran.

We should target one of the Jazz young bigs in Kanter/Favors as they have trouble getting minutes. If the Jazz are unwilling, try for Milsapp.

Say Bye Bye to
Rasheed Wallace
Kurt Thomas
Chris Copeland
James White
Pablo Prigs
Resign Jr Smith
Try to sign Jarret Jack for Mid Level and promise starting spot/ Send Feltons ass on the bench or trade him for a big man

Jack can't guard PG's either, and is worse at running an offense.

Jarret Jack is not a starting PG for a winning team. He's a fine backup scoring point. He's tough. He's experienced. He can contribute off the bench. Not against trying to get him but he's not better than Felton as far as staring PG goes.

Kind of early for off-season, but I hope we make good use of our pick. Not necessarily somebody that will contribute right away but someone with high ceiling.
