Jennings is terrible and there is no way the Knicks are trading Felton for him.

Awful trade,

With that trade the Knicks projected wins will decrease by 11.

Realistically, would you guys want Gasol over Amar'e? I think I would take this trade. Gasol's a better defender, a better facilitator, and a better rebounder. Additionally he has moves in the post.

What about Steve Novak & Chris Copeland + 2nd rounder for Nikola Pekovic? Pekovic gives us a quality starting big who can post up & rebound. We lose our 3 pt specialist but we become a better rebounding team & get tougher on the inside.

They seem to not be able to keep a wing player healthy so they get 2. They could have potentially found a gem in Chris Johnson. When Love comes back they'll have a legit 3 pt threat to spread the floor even more. They could also focus on developing & giving Derrick Williams consistent minutes.

Felton should be getting paid double considering his production this season and that he's a starter. Felton gets paid the salary of a back-up point guard. He's one of the last guys I would consider trading. Even if you try trading him for a guy like Bledsoe, we would still have to pay Bledsoe three times the salary that Felton makes considering someone will likely offer Bledsoe $10+ million per year this summer.

It is tempting though. We could lock down Bledsoe and Shumpert as our backcourt for the next 10 years. I don't think the Clippers would trade Bledsoe for a veteran point guard though. They would not talk to us unless we gave them Shump.

Felton and JR for Bledsoe, the Clips miiiight listen but we'd really be putting all our eggs in one basket with Bledsoe and Shump as our backcourt of the future.

I'm certain Minny could get better value for pek than that package.

I dont have any ridiculous trades to come up with but i think looking for a backup PG who can penetrate and get to the hoop like a Barea or Bledsoe would help this team greatly

I'd say Camby can if he can get healthy. And you really think trading Bewer and Copeland is going to put us over the edge? I think there is a lot to say for chemistry, continuity and not overturning our roster every single season.

Anyone else believe now is about as perfect a time you'll ever see to make a Stat for Pau trade? It's like D'Antoni is begging for it. He demotes Pau to the bench right when Amare has not only called this Melo's team but embraced a bench role. There's no way Atlanta trades Josh Smith for a bench player I don't care how talented people say Pau is.
Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

Lakers Uninterested In Acquiring Long-Term Money In Exchange For Gasol
Jan 21, 2013 11:29 PM EST

The Los Angeles Lakers have discussed Pau Gasol trades with other teams, but sources say they are not interested in acquiring a player on a large long-term contract.

The Lakers are weary of paying the luxury tax, according to the report.

The Lakers have also been previously linked to clearing their 2014 offseason books as clear as possible for a free agent signing.
