Surprised people are recognising JR, at least from the TNT crew.

Wrong. Tyson played well last year and the reason why he didnt make it was that our record was not good enough. We have the 2nd best record in the east and Tyson is 6th in the NBA in rebounding and tops in fg% and he is not all star?.

Tyson will be voted in as an all star by the coaches.

Stop bringing up that damn record. Have you seen our record the past month or so ?
KG has been more important for the Celtics than Tyson has been for us. Simply because he's making a difference on OFFENSE AND DEFENSE! Tyson only really plays one side of the court. And the only time he was decent on offense was when Felton was in the lineup.

Oh so we should ignore that KG lead an under .500 team before Bradley came back. You'd have a better argument for Bradely than KG.

Did you not see the game today? And the past 10 games he's avereaging 11 and 13. He is well deserved of whats coming to him.

KG was voted in by the fans. Melo didnt derseve it last year neither. But fans vote. KG would not have made it if the coaches were to vote.

wow i can't believe someone could possibly make so many false statements in one paragraph.

have u seen our record for the past month?...how about the celtics record the 1st month? So just throw away our amazing start to the season...ok makes sense...

also again wrong he is making a difference on both ends and tyson is not.

tyson's 4.5 offensive rebounds a freakin game isn't helping on offense? He gives us 5-6 extra possessions a game on tip outs and stuff

KG is having such a mediocre year and the records show...records have everything to do with being an allstar. It means you are helping your team win.

stop being a curmudgeon for a second and actually think rationally

Thats not the argument. Winning counts and the Celtics are just getting it together. Tyson is more deserving.

Why we comparing Tyson and KG? KG is vastly more hated and loved by the masses than Tyson, fin.

how so?

besides a few games this year where he didn't show up tyson is still the reining defensive player of the year and does much more

who blocks more shots - tyson
who gets more rebounds - tyson
who is he better post defender - tyson

garnett is probably the better help defender but that about it.

i disagree with the first part, agree with the 2nd...KG is the much better player over his career. But at this point in there careers the only thing KG does better is shoot the basketball. Tyson is better at just about everything else
