because Chicago is not that far behind us in the standings while Boston is.

That's kind of where I was conflicted as well. I'd rather Boston stay buried in our conference and division then create more separation from Chicago.

Good question. IMO, I believe it's because Knick-a-holic feels his Garnett hate trumps his Jordan hate. I could care less who wins that game. Both teams are playing well, both teams are a rival and both teams are a threat. I'll be happy in one moment, angry in the next moment, rinse/repeat.

If Boston stays buried in the conference we might have to play them in the 1st round. That's the last thing I want.

Chicago winning or losing is irrelevant from the Knicks standpoint from here on out.

The more chances Boston loses the possibility of them not making the playoffs at all, or stay in that 8th seed, and avoid us.

Chicago is gonna win their division once Rose comes back, they are not a threat at all to us in the first round.

It's incredibly crazy that we are still in mid-season and the race to the playoffs is so very tight. Jockeying for position at mid-season just blows my mind. We haven't had this kind of intense race in many years, or perhaps it's because the Knicks were at the bottom of the heap during the last decade that I never noticed. I hope teams like Chicago, Brooklyn, Atlanta and Indiana will fall off a bit and give us some breathing room. The East is now like the West where all eight teams are very competitive.

We need the stadium to collapse in Boston. Alternatively, multiple season ending injuries would also be acceptable.

Rockets @ Pacers - couldn't care less. I expect Lin with another 2-13 performance though.

Go Hawks @ Niets.

Well Thugger....since you put it that way, I hope Chicago sexually assaults Boston tonight (not literally).

Aint happening, Indy and Chicago both stand to improve substantially with the return of Granger and Rose within the next few weeks. Atlanta may fall iff but Philly has Bynum coming back.

It'll be interesting to see how good Indy and Chicago will be when they get their respective star players back.

Although we're still not at full strength too with Felton and Camby missing from the lineup(assuming Sheed is out indefinitely)
