Kidd is a good back up point guard. His own point guard play thrives when Felton is on the floor with him.

its amazing to me how noone has really brought up the fact that without felton this is pretty much the exact same team as last year pre lin when we had melo running point forward and we all know how well that worked out....

Good news, looking forward to and curious to see him play some with Amare and Shump.

I know Felton aint no Chris Paul. But the Clippers looks so bad without a legit point guard. A lot of playmaking responsibility is falling on Blake and Caron Butler. It looks bad.

A lot of one on one basketball. No flow.

Just like Jason Kidd still has alot of game left. They only look good next to their starting point guard.

Bledsoe is the furthest thing from a PG

This team without Felton is nowhere close to the team we had last year.

Last year we barely had players who could dribble forget about running a play.

We have a host of players who can do both, just not fulltime.

Melo was running pnr with Amare for three assists, and a couple more were kickouts for threes....he wasn't facilitating during the entire absence of Felton, just this past game.

I hope doctors are erring on the conservative side. Losing him for the season would be devastating. A two week stretch of average basketball would not.

This team without Felton lacks a crucial component for success but that shouldn't take away from what Kidd provides.

Just like Tyson can't make up for Felton's absence neither can Kidd who, at this point, provides different qualities than Felton.

His D is great but its better against larger and somewhat slower players. He's gonna struggle vs rondo. His passing is amazing but he's not doing it off penetration at this point which is obviously crucial to this squad. Mostly this hurts guys like Novak and chandler and Kidd himself. Melo will still get his 30 nightly.

Ironically Kidd had been the one to benefit most perhaps from drive and dish off Felton's play.

I agree. I starting to lean towards him returning after all star break. The things we ask him will incurr a lot of hits at the ball/hands.

actually he will get the all star break off anyway he might as well come back, help us out, test those hands and then rest up

obviously not at the risk of further injury but Id like to see him get some burn before the break

If Felton from November comes back, that is great. If Felton from December is what we get, don't expect much change in the results.

yeah i agree its in a little better shape but i got a major case of de ja vu during the nets game when we had a lineup of tyson/amare/jr/shump and melo playing point forward
