no 1 was coming here to play with lee

amare was able to attract melo, and then TC came after

chandler had a chance to play with Lee in GS, and he turned it down to come here

And you remember what I thought about Anthony coming here...meanwhile, we could have brought in a player like Asik for half of what we paid Tyson (who is nonetheless one of the few players on this roster I can even stomach rooting for).

The truth hurts :(

again too many what if scenarios....that is assuming NY had saved the cap space for last year to sign asik and not used it the year b4 on some other player(s)...and also have to factor in how much gallo/wc were resigned for

Great game...Dallas got two tough Techs in this quarter. Don't agree with the calls.

Stefan Bondy ‏@NYDNInterNets

Joe Johnson (heel) is not playing tonight against the Grizzlies.

and

Moke Hamilton ‏@MokeHamilton

Joe Johnson has plantar fasciitis and its an injury that lingers. Deron Williams must now step up for #Nets: http://on.sny.tv/Zqckbn #FB

anyone else read the article that said deron could only get so many more injections in his ankle. it sounds pretty bad.

they're still 3 games out of the 8th spot I think

March is what will make or break their season.

they play 15 games, 10 of them on the road. And they're all tough games.

I had slight doubts too, but once they close in with 3 in the loss column, I was liek "they got a shot".

It might actually come to the last game of the year, and that's Houston.

Anytime I read about a guy taking so many cortisone shots it reminds me of Penny Hardaway. He took so many of them to desperately get on the court. If Deron keeps doing this to himself, he'll be a shell of himself in 2 years (to a larger extreme than he is now).

i kept saying they would make the playoffs the whole time, but that was before gasol went down. still, if houston has more chokejobs like last night in DC and like they did in SAC, maybe LA still has a shot.
