Cut Some1, Sign DELONTE, Sooner Rather Than Later Please.

Post#1 » by KnicksGod » Fri Feb 22, 2013 7:55 pm

What could possibly be the reason not to make this move? Somebody please enlighten me. I'm honestly asking what could possibly be the reasons NOT to do this?

It's not like we don't have crazies on this roster. New York City has a long track record of absorbing questionable characters with talent and watching them flourish.

White is not going to help this team. Delonte really could be valuable.

They could drop Copeland too, but with K-Mart in the fold and Camby/Sheed possibly returning, I think Copeland could see a few spot minutes here and there and you can hide his defense with a vet big on the court.

White is big enough/long enough to defend the wing. Delonte isn't. White doesn't require shots to be effective. Delonte does. White doesn't carry guns. Delonte does.

Both suck, but I'd rather have White honestly.

OK. But he's not getting on the court to defend LeBron, is he realistically? With injury, sure.

It's a decent argument anyway.

I would love it but don't see it happening.

Felton could be more effective if a third of his minutes were cut and handed to Delonte.

This move makes sense. He plays decent defense and can play both guard positions. Shoots the 3 well also

We should of cut white and signed Kmart. Losing a defender like Brewer will hurt us down the line I believe.

Delonte West has playoff experience. White doesn't.

I guess Grunwald may be keeping White's contract for a trade since it's non-guaranteed.

OK then.

Cut Copeland.

Sure he's crazy but at least he's a smart player.

Career 37% three point shooter. That ain't well. That's another JR.

no one doubts delonte west's talent, but there is a reason he doesn't have a job right now. he's not just "a little quirky." he's effing mad. absolute poison.

do not want. ever.

Dudes I had a dream that Delonte West was on the Knicks. He didn't play or anything, but we were looking for stuff in an amusement park and he was a real team player.

37% would make him the third best 3 point shooter on our team.
