Well what I can find so far is that CJ Leslie is already signed to a two yr deal on or around July 11th, 2013.

C.J. Leslie received a two-year deal at the league minimum from the Knicks.
The Knicks are reportedly high on Leslie and may have taken him in the first round had Tim Hardaway, Jr. not been there. Leslie is one of the most athletic rookies that will be in Las Vegas Summer League and the team will be monitoring his motor during the 11-day event. Jul 11 - 10:03 AM
Source: NY Post

Also ESPN has him on the current team roster with a salary of $490K. This link also has Kenyon Martin on the team as well as Earl Barron with a 2013 salary of 854K, so need verify that.
http://espn.go.com/nba/team/roster/_/name/ny/new-york-knicks

I am checking other sources to verify the info, in the meantime if anyone else has other info please post it.

Understood

But he can still be
1. Waived
2. Asked to play overseas

CJ Leslie signed a two year minimum salary contract on July 8th 2013. First year is $200,000 guaranteed. Second year is fully unguaranteed with no guarantee date. They didn't negotiate such a contract just to waive him a couple months later.

What's up with Mo Williams?

He wants minutes, no way he comes here

Mo Williams would be the cherry on top of the Knicks Off-Season. Bang, Got it and Yes!!!! 8-)

200K is not gonna stop them from waiving him if they want is my point

Chandler/Tyler
Bargs/Amare/Martin
Melo/MWP/Leslie
Shump/Smith/THjr
Felton/Priggs

I'm assuming we bring in Murry so that's going to leave one spot left.
A true center like Jordan, a stretch big like Vargas or another pg (Telfair).

I agree with and borderline love the roster. Especially the younger developmental pieces I think this year will be a good chance for them to see the nba game and develop under veterans that for the most part play the game tough, physical and most of the time smart. I also think a mid season blockbuster could be made with some younger guys and soon to be expirings. Interesting season and looking forward to it

Can't wait to hear Clyde try to say Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Tyler is not under contract, he only has a training camp invite along with Murry, so at this time the Knicks only have 12 players under contract after signing Martin today. Grunwald is thinking of of leaving one or two spots open for the possibility of signing one or two players from training camp, unless a vet becomes available thru waivers or a trade is made.
During Training Camp a team can have up to 20 players on the roster, which should create a healthy competition amongst the camp invitees.

Tyler is a must, imo. Just sign the dude now if it improves our chances at locking him up long term.

For 3rd string PG; I'm assuming it will be Brown.

Last roster spot should be a big. We have to assume there will be long stretches where K-mart and Amare will be injured. We probably have to settle for the bottom of the barrel here as we don't have $$ or PT to offer. Petro is probably the best we can hope for.

What happened to Bobby Brown? Thought he was pretty much done to be our third string point guard?

Jeremy Tyler is the best option we have at back up center.

Chander / Tyler
Amar'e / Bargnani / Martin
Melo / MWP
Shump / Smith
Felton / Prigs / Brown

Non-rotation:
- THJ, Leslie, Murray

That's already more than enough for our roster.

I could see us going for another 2/3 with the 15th spot. Especially given JR's injury.

Otherwise we're gonna have to put THJ in the rotation right away, which I'm not sure Woody's gonna want to do. Guess it will depend on how he looks in training camp.

Anyway I think we'd need a reliable 3-point shooter. Neal probably won't come for the minimum. But I like Daequean Cook. What about a month of Stackhouse?

Tyler and Brown seems like locks if I had to bet

That would leave 1 spot for a Bigman

There was something about Raja Bell a while ago but that seems to have died down. He'd be a nice filler for a few months but it'll be awfully crowded once Smith comes back.

I don't understand the Brown hype. Who is this guy. Glancing at stats his best yr with Europeans he shot 41%.
DONT WANT.
Murry plays defense and is 6'5.

Why are we not going after Udrih? He can play PG, he's big and he can shoot. That would be a much better choice than guys like Bobby Brown who would never get off the bench.

Give me Udrih and Tyler and I'm happy.

Money is the reason. Now if he will take what a Bobby Brown would take then I am sure the Knicks would be interest.

I'm not sure Murry is a real PG.

I think Udrih is available for the minimum. He's got nothing. I would give him a shot.
