Miami could of used his size and defense on Duncan yet they didn't. Looks like he's done.

I doubt it. His body is breaking down at an alarming rate. I don't think even Phoenix and their miracle workers can help him.

You'll get more out of Dalembert, Aldrich, Tyler than you would from Oden at this point.

Wasn't there another Greg Oden thread recently, like a few days ago?

a championship team isn't going to give oden minutes. Oden needs a team yo give him a real chance to come back. Like you said he only 26.

Knicks have a healthy guy to develop in Cole Aldrich. He's only 25 and has shown a lot of promise as a rim protector, rebounder, defender and finisher at the rim.

I think he's starting caliber since the Knicks have plenty of scoring at other positions already and need a guy like Aldrich to provide size, hustle, defense, rebounding, shot blocking, second chance points and easy buckets at the rim.

My theory is that Greg Oden actually had his birth certificate altered (like they do with a lot of the Latin baseball players). Except in Oden's case, it was altered significantly (by like 10 years). So when he was studding in HS he wasn't 18 but 28 (a TRUE man among boys). And since he's now 36, his body is basically doing what natural bodies do at that age.

the fact that miami was a championship team had nothing to do with him not playing, miami was in dire straights for a big man (which oden is) he was just ineffective (due to his ailing body)...a healthy Oden starts over birdman. He's just not healthy and doesn't seem as if his health will improve, I pass on Oden

I love your enthusiasm but let's be honest Cole is a Knicks draft pick away from winding up in the d league. He hasn't proven anything. And to use last year as an example is even worse. He played well in blow outs? He didn't play meaningful minutes or games. If you want to say that about Cole than you can say the same thing about every 3rd string back up Center in the league.

Alot of times big men take time to develop. Cole has shown some good ability in his short stint here. Obviously Phil & CO like him or else they wouldnt have signed him to a deal after 1 summer league game.

Imagine not only passing on Durant but picking the worst bust in NBA history.

And still having a job in this league.
