All I know is that they have something like $24M in committed salaries and the NBA minimum salary floor is somewhere in the $57M (?) range. Hinky saying they aren't worried about but did note that they have flexibility to get some things done. STAT????

He's not worried because he already has deals in place to get up to the floor.

One of them obviously includes Stat.

They are tanking, and making no secret about it.

Tanking like you would in 2k. I actually find it very intriguing.

Why? He's HORRIBLE. I've said since he was playing in college he'd bust...no lateral quickness, no offensive skill, isn't a good rebounder, can't get up and down the court, etc. He's horrible.

Agreed. As a Uconn alumni, I can say that watching him get tossed around by 6'7" "centers" I knew he was a bust.

Hah that 6'7 center was DeJuan Blair who annihilated Thabeet.

NBA needs to do something about this August / September lull. Maybe an invitational to non NBA players worldwide where they can possibly get into the d league or if they really stand out an invite to training camp

My woman ... "makes me" watch Project Runway and the designer who was eliminated last night looks to me like Dwight Howard cross-dressing. No? Her name is Char Glover. She's *probably* too old to be one of Dwight's children.

Jesus, what did you do to your woman to deserve that? I hope she makes it up to you later.
