i am a male rn with associate degree ,17 years now .i work with aids patients .pay scale just goes up and up with a speciality and a strong union [1199].i can hit 100,000 with a few ot shifts a month.i do like my job and the people i work with mostly.it enabled me to buy a house in brooklyn [with a lot of luck] and live the good life with the family right now [my wife works also].good luck with your search,good spots are out there.

That's damn good right there! Nurses in my area at any place wish we could get a steady pay raise. All we get is a few cents on the dollar. One of my coworkers who is a 25 year experience nurse only got a 10 cent raise which is a slap in the face and she's an excellent nurse!
