Seriously though...hard to say...the 2 most statistically impressive former Knicks currently playing are David Lee and Zach Randolph. Both can score as a secondary option quite handedly and both rebounds well. Lee's a better passer (though Randolph has shown that if needed he can also pass well for a PF) but probably a worse defender (Randolph obviously isn't a defensive plus either) so it's 6 of one, half dozen of the other. But I'd have to say you have to go with one of these 2 guys. I'd probably go with Randolph since his contract expires at the end of this season while Lee's doesn't until after next season.

Other guys I'd like back? Wilson Chandler, Nate Robinson, Trevor Ariza, Jeremy Lin, Channing Frye, Jordan Hill, Timofey Mozgov, Sergio Rodriguez would all also be interesting.

No...I'm not mentioning the other guy. Don't want you know who back along with him. Yes, he would be a fit as well...but no.

Did we draft Nene and THEN deal him or did we deal the pick? Either way, I'd want a big so Hill, Frye or Lee would be my considerations with Hill getting my biggest endorsement thanks to his contract being an expiring.

Other scenario I'd love...Lee is back, we deal Amare for Kobe and suddenly we have two massive expirings heading into the Kevin Durant Free Agency along with two quality pieces for a triangle offense over the two years we don't have space. That'd put us in contention imo though we'd seriously need a shot blocking C.
