there sure are some high quality players on these euro teams even if no one but Spain and perhaps Serbia has a real chance against us

The french and serbian teams especially are impressive
spain obviously

i like that center on france - laverigne or whatever
NJ has a nice player in Bogan

I was disappointed that our draft pick isn't good enough to play in the fiba WC. Wanted to see our frenchie center

oh well

After France nearly lost at home to Finland in the final preparation game before the tournament, it is hard to imagine France having a great tournament this year. Ok just one meaningless game but still, France didn't impress.

Yes, as a team without Parker they are unlikely to go far but they do have some solid players beyond the NBA names

Fornet and the center I mentioned are solid

James Harden just put this country to shame with that display of defense

i'm Turkish so this "turkey" jokes feel like racist. its not cool at all.

in our language turkey is hindi.
and we call india as hindi in turkish. these kind of things happens in language but dont find this funny for adult person.

anyway good game. we miss ilyasova&kanter. maybe with these two's energy we could last more. our energy lasts 3qt but thats also Team USA's superiorty. if Team USA plays like this against spain you could get upset. i dont like d.rose-derozan-drummond/cousins-gay and even curry.
especially rose sucked. he missed to many fg's. bad passes, easy fouls...

It could be that Rose may not win MVP this year, even if he plays 75 games.

Funny thing is that in Portuguese (I'm brazilian), we call turkey (the animal), peru, just like the country Peru. Turkey (the country) is spelled Turquia and there are no jokes with that name here.

That's so pathetic. Though it makes me feel a little better about Amare and Bargs.

I'm Venezuela, we call Turco (turkish) to a person who wants to sell you cheap things at an unfair price.

I haven't been able to see any team USA this summer.. but that isn't the first, second or third time I've heard someone say that about Faried recently. Is it safe to say that Shump for Faried trade wouldn't have been so bad?
