OT: US Govt says North Korea behind Sony hacks

Post#1 » by PMFJB » Wed Dec 17, 2014 11:56 pm

US govt sure it was North Korea behind the recent Sony hacks/threats.

They basically threatened the homeland if anyone saw that movie. Is that a declaration of war? What happens now?

Sony has pulled the movie. Won't be released anymore.

I am super curious what our response will be. This can't be let go.

F*ck those bastards. I can understand the chains not wanting to screen the film as they would have huge liability if something was to happen, but it really pisses me off that we caved in to those totalitarian scumbags. So now terrorists get to dictate what I get to see in AMERICA??? Screw them. I hope Sony makes a fortune off DVD and on demand sales. I'd pay double just to support them.

F*ck Kim Jong Un btw. Incurable gonorrhea with excruciating pain every time he takes a leak is my Christmas wish for him.
All in all he's just another prick with no wall

Truth is Sony caved because there are other things in that hack that these guys would leak...They may still do it to punish Sony.

I have a different view of this....

I think it's a huge publicity stunt. HUGE.

The american government just blamed another government of essentially a terrorist act. Do you understand the implications of that? And yet you think its a hoax? SMH. Just smh

 So they didn't cave for the purpose of preserving the lives of their customers who put vast amounts of money in their pockets and help pay their exorbitant salaries. It just doesn't want their executives embarrassed. What a world.

This is war, literally. Oh wait, is Sony still considered as Japanese?

Oh well, Sony should just release the film for free over Youtube and broadcast TV - what are you gonna do huh?!

Well, you can syh but this whole thing doesn't add up:

http://www.pcworld.com/article/2855452/ ... tacks.html

http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2014 ... /20110609/

Note the quote: The possibility of North Korean involvement seems tenuous, at least from a linguistic perspective, said Timothy Tangherlini, a professor at UCLA who researches Korean nationalism.

"While everything about that e-mail screams 'Not a native English speaker' or perhaps, 'not an English speaker at all', it doesn't strike me as particularly Korean," he said.

It is on CNN. On national tv right now. You are quoting news from over 2 weeks ago. Wtf is wrong with people?
