Miles Plumlee an option?

Post#1 » by hovah69 » Thu Jan 22, 2015 5:16 am

Would anyone be on board with a Tim Hardaway Jr. For Miles Plumlee swap? Phoenix is looking to move him now that they have Brandan Wright and looking for a pick or rotational player...THJ seems to fit that "role" and we could use a young center with a nice upside. Big men are hard to find these days and there will be plenty of 2nd tier SGs available via free agency this offseason...if I'm Phil Jackson I make a call and see if they're interested

He's an awful fit in the triangle. I'd like to get him, but not necessarily for Tim.

Bleh. I guess. I'd much rather the Nets Plumlee.

I don't think he's good. I like Len a lot more but I doubt Phx would move him and I believe he's making good money.

This Plumlee is destined to be the "Robin Lopez" of the plumlee family if all follows as planed. So why not!

On the other hand, no

I would if you could expand it to include Tyler Ennis

Plumlee + Ennis
for
Hardaway + Aldrich

If nothing else, Plumlee is a cheap big and would be easy to flip in the offseason. probably easier to move than Hardaway

Problem is the Nets' Plumlee can actually play. He's too much of a building block piece for them to sell :(.

thj for him would be a step backward. Sell high on THJ after a few good games. Or worst case, use him to get assets. Acquiring him for that Plumlee would be a disaster and I really don't like thjs game

Plumlee at best will be a mediocre back up center. Meanwhile Hardaway projects to be a 6th man type. No question that Hardaway is a better value than a 26 y/o center without basketball skills.
