Just looking out on the court, it is easy to notice that Phil Jackson has made this team a lot "Whiter."

Players traded/waived:
Smith, Shumpert, Stoudemire, Dalembert, Prigioni. (Chandler/Felton last off-season)

Players added/retained:
Jason Smith, Travis Wear (over Thanasis Antetokounmpo), Cole Aldrich (moved Jeremy Tyler), Andrea Bargnani (waived Stoudemire), Jose Calderon, Lou Amundson, Alexey Shved (upgrade over Pablo, in whiteness).

The anomalies: Galloway, Thomas (Early, Quicy, & Larkin <- obtained before the start of the season).

If this current trend continues. If New York had a choice over Gasol or Love/Aldridge, you know Gasol/Love is going to be their primary target(s).

I am not making as assumptions about this, but Jackson's transactions have certain resulted in a lighter overall team hue. Very early Utah Jazz-esque GM-ing practices.

I use to be a JR Smith fan before he was drafted. Thought he had Vince Carter potential. Turned out to be a problematic version of John Starks. Became worse and more toxic with the Knicks. Hate seeing him do good, yea I'm a hater.

The most painful thing about Calderon is when he passes up an open 3pt shot opportunity and pass it to someone who isn't open.
It's like Calderon is trying to defend his 3PT% and make sure it doesn't get damaged.

lol he does seem lost out there. The thing is they do not give him consistent minutes to get a true feel for the guy. He seems to do ok in the d league.
